<div>To know Jennifer French Murray (Tezucar) is to love her. Her genuine love of life and people and experiences are infectious. She makes best friends of absolute strangers and turns the most mundane of tasks into adventures. Jenn’s greatest joys in life are her daughters, Aliyana (Yaya) and Amelia (Mimi) who will be in 8th and 6th grade this coming school year.

<div>On May 31, 2022, Jen received a Stage III Colon Cancer diagnosis. Just six weeks later, she was told it had progressed to Stage IV. Those of us lucky enough to know Jen personally, know that she is a fighter and so, she started her fight. Through chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries, Jen continued to work full time, fully supporting her girls in their academic and cheer endeavors and taking on additional work to ease financial strain. After eight months of fighting, Jen presented no evidence of disease!

<div>Unfortunately, just seven months later, doctors found a recurrence of cancer in both lungs. In November of 2023, Jen had the first of two surgeries to remove parts of both of her lungs. Despite her positive attitude and fighting spirit, Jen’s recovery was harder than anyone expected and, sadly the surgeries did not yield the results we had all hoped for. Her cancer is back in both what remains of her lungs as well as in her liver.

<div>In April of 2024, Jen was informed by her doctors that the rest of her care would be palliative aimed at making her comfortable living with her diagnosis. She has restarted chemo and continues to fight to be here for her girls.

<div>Your help is needed to ease some of the financial burden these last years of fighting have created. While continuing to work fulltime, Jen has taken on extra jobs — nannying, housekeeping, and more — in order to maintain her medical insurance and bills and costs of living. Our goal is to help alleviate some of Jen’s financial burdens so that she can focus on her fight, alleviating stress and finding time to rest.

Help Support Louie’s family

It’s hard to imagine we have to write this, let alone for our sister. Denise who is only 35 years old and despite no family history or other risk factors,  has been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer.<br /><br />We are in shock and devastated at the news to say the least.  She starts chemo next week which will go on for 4-6 months and is ready to beat this. <br /><br />The funds we raise for Denise will help support her and her family-a loving husband, Shaun, her sweet step daughter, Saydee, her four year old daughter, Nova and her two year old son, Cashen. <br /><br />Denise has opted for a double mastectomy at the end of her treatment and depending how her genetic test results come back, she may also need a hysterectomy. She will be unable to work at various times during chemo and as she recovers from surgery, so your donation will help cover their expenses when her income disappears (she is a self employed hair dresser and does not qualify for disability).  <br /><br />She also will have many appointments and need care for her children so your donation will also help with childcare costs.<br /><br />Obviously, even with great insurance, cancer is expensive- one scan alone is $1,100, so your donation will help offset her medical bills as well.<br /><br />If you have anything to spare, please donate so our sister can focus on beating cancer and not the stress of impending bills.<br /><br />Thank you so much for your support.<br /><br />Love,<br />Allison and Mark

Help Denise Beat Cancer!

Hi Friends,<br />As some of you may or may not  know, Genaro was in a horrific car accident over a year ago. Two kids were racing each other on 280 and one lost control of his car and crashed into Genaro's truck. Classic Genaro, semi conscious and wounded, limped his way to the young mans car and  forced the obstructed door open and proceeded to give CPR until Genaro himself went unconscious.  Unfortunately, the kid that hit him did not survive and was an illegal immigrant with no insurance. The accident left Genaro with  major head and foot injuries and a mile long medical bill. <br /><br />Last May Genaro underwent surgery to reconstruct his foot and has been out of work recovering ever since. The doctor recently informed Genaro that one of the bone grafts didn't take. In an effort to force his body to heal the doctor gave him the last 2 weeks to try and walk  on his severely broken foot ...and like a champ (as we all know him to be) he clenched his teeth and took the pain.<br /><br />Today we received some very devastating news. Instead of the doctor telling him he can go back to work he informed us that his only option to walk again will be another surgery. Genaro is now having to redo the surgery all over again except this time they will be taking bone from his hip. This added procedure will, unfortunately, require a longer and more painful recovery process than his last surgery. As you can expect, Genaro is now unable to go back to work for another year and even worse may have to cover some of the medical expenses since the kid who hit him had no insurance. Sadly this last year of recovery has depleted his savings and now, not being able to work for another year, has put him in a very tough situation. <br /><br />Genaro has always been the person to call if you needed help or if you just needed a friend to talk to. I'm starting this fund in hopes that we can show our gratitude by giving a little back and maybe raise his spirits (and lower his stress levels). If you are able, any donation would be unbelievably appreciated. I know money is tight for everyone these days but even if it's ten bucks you find in an old pair of jeans ...a little from everyone combined can really help Genaro and Kaden get through this! Genaro needs  ANOTHER  surgery :(

Last night after I fed my dog a pigskin twist she started pacing, panting and whining. I took her outside thinking she just needed to go to the bathroom. She went and I brought her back inside. 10 minutes later, the same thing happened. This happened 4 seperate times and on the last time, she urinated a lot of blood. I decided I needed to take her to the emergency veterinarian since it was 3am and I knew something was wrong. While I was getting ready to leave, she vomited 3 times. The vet took some X-rays and noticed a lot of food still in stomach and told me it was alarming since she hadn't had a full meal in 8 hours.  They told me to follow up at my normal vet. I called today to try to get her in and was told that I couldn't be seen until tomorrow. I then noticed that my dog was acting very strange, not able to walk straight, whining, shaking. Again I took her outside and again she urinated blood. I took her back to animerge and they did more X rays and took a urine sample. The food in the stomach seemed to be starting to move but the vet noticed a possible mass near her spleen and I was told that there was a lot of blood in her urine. They sent me home with some antibiotics and some pain meds for her. I'm also being told I need to get her in for an ultrasound to check her bladder and to check the possible mass. The tests she's already had have already costed me around $700.00 and I have no idea how much an ultrasound could cost. I am currently collecting unemployment being that I'm a landscape contractor by profession and have been layed off due the the winter season. Im not proud to say that after paying her bills I literally have $10.00 to my name at this point and I really don't know how else to come up with the money to get her the rest of the tests she needs. Crash is the best dog I've ever owned. She is my best friend. She is loving, she doesn't chew things, she has never had an accident in the house. Everyone that has come in contact with her falls in love with her. Many of you know know her as she used to belong to Steve Anderson and his family, I took her in after they moved and I've given her the best care I could for the past 2 1/2 years.  It breaks my heart to see my dog suffering and i feel completely helpless because of my financial situation. I've never done a go fund me, I feel as though I'm begging for money but I really don't have any other options. I would do anything for this animal. I can provide receipts and all the paperwork I was given at animerge if anyone needs it. I chose the $1000.00 figure because I'm not sure how much additional testing costs. I will provide all receipts, invoices and any other paper work I get to prove where the money has gone. If I exceed my goal, or if it costs me less than the amount I have received I will be donating all extra money to The Rancho Relaxo rescue.
