Primus Promise was founded out of lived experience and a deep commitment to ensuring that every child in foster care has the opportunity to thrive. Our founder entered the foster care system at a young age and was adopted at the age of five—an experience that shaped a lifelong understanding of both the challenges and the transformative power of stability, support, and permanency. While adoption provided a loving foundation, the journey revealed significant gaps in resources, advocacy, and long-term support for foster and adopted youth and their families. Primus Promise was created to bridge those gaps by providing educational support, life-skills development, mentorship, and family-centered services that promote stability, resilience, and lasting success for children impacted by foster care.
