Alicia Rainey

​Hi, my name is Alicia, and I am starting this GoFundMe to surprise my parents, Bud and Karen, by helping them pay off their mortgage early. ​Both in their 70s, my parents have spent their lives putting others first. My mother has lived with Multiple Sclerosis for over 35 years and is a traumatic brain injury survivor. Recently, she has also begun experiencing seizures of unknown origin. My father is a resilient stroke survivor. Together, they have not only raised me and helped with my daughters, but we have also raised three of my nieces, two of whom are still in our custody today. ​Due to my own recent diagnosis of a brain aneurysm, it has become even more urgent for me to ensure my parents are taken care of. Under these extreme circumstances, I want to help them reach this goal sooner rather than later so they have the security and peace of mind they’ve earned. ​Please note: This is a surprise!
