What they care about

Call for Donations: Completing the Multi-Generational House What began as a vision has already brought about significant change in Manyinga/Turiani, Tanzania. Together with Manyinga Primary School, we have achieved a great deal since 2018: 1. Construction of a classroom for children with disabilities 2. Establishment of a sewing class for women 3. Planting of over 1,000 trees by the students—including many fruit trees 4. Cultivation of a rice field, and the planting of sweet potatoes and vegetables, together with the students 5. Construction of a well and the provision of water tanks 6. Support for teachers through training workshops on creating Montessori teaching materials 7. Empowerment of girls through the "Girls Club" And much more. Today, approximately 2,000 children attend the school, supported by a staff of around 26 teachers. Now comes the next important step: The completion of our Multi-Generational House. The house is intended to become a safe haven for orphans, women, and the elderly—a place of community and hope. To make the house fully functional, the following items are still needed: 1. Sanitary facilities 2. An outdoor kitchen 3. Beds and mattresses 4. Tables and chairs 5. Kitchen equipment We still require approximately 15,000 euros to complete the project. Every donation—no matter how small—helps us create a place where people can find safety, community, and new opportunities. Thank you for your support! Center of Hope for Dakawa e.V.
