I am writing this update today from inside our tent, which has become our only shelter on the street, to share with you the unbearable hardships we are enduring. My family has lost everything. Our home was completely destroyed, and we were deprived of safety and warmth. We have experienced the bitterness of repeated displacement, famine, and relentless danger. The destruction wasn't limited to the physical structures; it also shattered my children's educational future before our very eyes, leaving them without schools or aspirations, trapped between hunger and deprivation. We now live in a tent that offers no protection from the summer heat or the winter cold, and we suffer from a severe and comprehensive lack of the most basic necessities of life: food, clean drinking water, and hygiene supplies. To make matters worse, I have a heart condition and require specialized medical care and regular medication, which are completely unavailable. This puts my life in constant danger amidst these harsh conditions, devoid of even the most basic healthcare. Our suffering has drained us physically and mentally, but we still cling to hope thanks to your presence and support. Every contribution from you, no matter how small, makes a huge difference in providing medicine, treatment, water, and other essential needs for my children, and helps us to persevere and try to reclaim a small part of our stolen lives. I implore you, my family, you kind-hearted people, to continue supporting and standing by us. Thank you all for standing by us in our darkest hour.
Please help us. We are the Mira family living in Gaza, in a tent on the street, without the most basic necessities of life. Our home was destroyed, and we were displaced more than ten times, from the north to the south. Now we have returned to the devastated north, but we found no life and nowhere to go. We had no choice but to set up our tent on the street. We are suffering greatly. We lost our source of income and have no means of supporting ourselves. We desperately need your support to survive this difficult and exhausting life. Living in a tent is extremely difficult. It is not suitable for living, neither in the summer nor in the winter. Diseases, epidemics, insects, mice, and rats are also widespread. Our life is incredibly difficult—something you cannot imagine. We are living a truly primitive life. My children, including my young daughter Mira, are suffering greatly. We do not know what awaits us next. I also have a heart condition and need rest and care, but unfortunately, neither is available. Please help and save us so that we can provide the basic necessities of life and have a chance to survive.
