<div><span style="font-size:1.0625rem;">Kev is a community leader in South Philadelphia, co-founding the Homie Helping Homies Point Breeze community mutual aid which has been helping feed Point Breeze families for over 2 years &amp; counting. On Sunday 5/1/22 he was stabbed in a senseless act of violence where he nearly lost his life. He was rushed to the hospital where he collapsed from blood loss &amp; needed immediate surgery to stop the internal bleeding from lacerations to his diaphragm, lung, kidney &amp; liver. He is currently in the ICU recovering from surgery but has been advised the road to recovery will be long &amp; filled with physical therapy, medical equipment installation in his home, &amp; limited mobility, all while his discharge date from the hospital is still uncertain at the moment. Kev quit his job 2 years ago to start HHH, he has been living off unemployment &amp; his savings to ensure the community gets the aid it needs. Kev now needs the community’s help to make sure he can cover all his expenses during recovery - something we still aren’t sure the total cost or length of. Help Kev Recover From Brutal Attack

<font color="#333333">Hi to everyone that reads this I am trying to raise money for my brother who was in an unsettling car accident.<br />Early Friday morning, April 1st, Jared Duncan was in a serious car accident.  His vehicle was smashed into by another auto and rolled over multiple times. Jared was rushed to the emergency room at Dell Seton Medical Center in downtown Austin.  Unfortunately, his injuries were severe.  He broke his femur, two ribs, clavicle, and jaw in two places.  His lung collapsed and his liver was lacerated.  He was put on a ventilator and moved to intensive care.  That afternoon in surgery, he had a steel rod inserted in his right leg and a tube was inserted into his chest to facilitate any drainage issues.  Saturday morning, he had surgery on his broken jaw.  The broken bone was set in several places and his jaw was wired shut.  He was also taken off of the ventilator.  Throughout that first weekend, he experienced massive amounts of pain in his jaw and leg.  The pain medication has caused stomach issues which have unfortunately limited it’s effectiveness.  Sunday, the chest tube was pulled out, but there is a fear that because his broken ribs are preventing him from breathing deeply, pneumonia could creep in.  He has a long difficult road ahead.  Not only will he probably be in the hospital for at the least another week, he will need to begin rigorous physical therapy in order to walk again.  He’s facing months of difficult therapy and healing in order for him to be able to resume living his normal life.  He is also facing another potential surgery to further correct and mend his jaw.  He needs help with medical bills, but more importantly rent, groceries, automotive expenses, and other bills etc. while he heals.  Also, there may be some at home medical devices and equipment he will be required to purchase in order to facilitate his full recovery.  Jared Duncan has blessed the lives of so many people.  Not only is he an extremely caring and compassionate young man who continually and unselfishly helps others, his skills on a BMX bike are unparalleled and have delighted many people.  This man faces incredible odds returning to peak physical form let alone being able to do everyday physical tasks that most of us take for granted.  Consider donating to him and thereby becoming involved in his rehabilitative process which will in due time restore his health and ability to enjoy and experience life to the fullest.<br /></font>

<div>Hi, I am trying to raise money for Dylan Mccauley, who was involved in a terrible car accident. On April 1st his car was struck by another vehicle resulting in a horrific crash causing his car to roll multiple times...  leaving Dylan with life-threatening injuries that he is still battling in the intensive care unit. Luckily his brain was not injured. However, the rest of his body and vital organs were severely traumatized. He fractured his spine, ruptured his blater, shattered his pelvis, broke multiple ribs, and has massive amounts of internal bleeding. He has had a few surgeries, with more to come in the near future... each of them is just as severe as the last. This money will be going towards his medical bills, care, and unforeseen costs.
