My name is Erica. I am not my disability! I am not my disorder! In 2012, I felt weird, "ER NOW" 3 weeks and so many tests, finally, results, Doctor, sat down on the bed. Well, we narrowed it down to 2 possibilities. First, it could be Cancer Wait!! Then, he said, You should pray for Cancer. Wait, What...Pray for cancer... What is there, something worse then that. Second, !?!? The scarier thing, worse then cancer... Life changed.. Well, I'm here to tell you, I don't have ... Cancer!! Yay!! Cancer free for life.. Wow, what a relief...oh wait.. Cancer was the better choice... it was first... on a short list.. Me, I'm just a Daddy's Girl!! I can't express enough how much I love my Daddy. I got a Super Hero for a Dad. He is My Hero, he doesn't need to hide behind his glasses. He is my smiles, my laughter, my giggles and he is cheese and crackers with his little baby girl. My Dad is Phil, He is, My Hero. Not his disability. He is not, MS. Im his Baby Girl, Erica. I am Not my disability. I am Not my disorder. I am Not, Scarodiose. Both my Dad and I have autoimmune disorders. In 1986, Dad's life Changed, MS Took parts of him away, Permanently. He is still My Super Hero!! 2012 My Life, changed, Scarodiose... It was war, I was fighting, myself. In 6 months, half my lung capacity, gone, Forever, permanently. Oxygen, is Very Important, I found out, the hard way, You need that stuff!! If living is something you want to do! I was like everyone else, Just breathing it in everyday, Not giving it another thought...till Doctor, What if I have the other thing. . "There is nothing I can do for you" He told me, "He would Pray for me" Well, Doctor, it must have worked, your Pray, 14 years later, Im not in my wheelchair, Anymore! Im not on Oxygen 24/7 Anymore! (I gave my tanks to an Artist) I Climbed a mountain With no help! Doctor, could you do me a favor?! I need a refill, of those Prays. .please! Im at War, Again!! My Dad needs me, I have seen his 50+yr Fight I am a Super Hero, too! My guy, he sees Me. Like I see my Dad!! A Super Hero. I need help this time, I can't do it alone, Please help, me. Help me keep fighting, For my Dad, Mom and Marc! Even Super Heros' need help.
