Hola, mi nombre es Victor Rocha y actualmente estoy recibiendo atención médica en el Hospital Lutheran General en Park Ridge, Illinois. Tengo 28 años. El 5 de agosto de 2025 me diagnosticaron leucemia linfoblástica aguda de células B (LLA), un tipo de cáncer grave y potencialmente mortal que afecta la sangre y la médula ósea. Este diagnóstico requiere un tratamiento intensivo, que incluye un ciclo prolongado de quimioterapia y un seguimiento médico constante. El tratamiento no solo es físicamente agotador, sino también emocional y psicológicamente desafiante. Desde este diagnóstico, mi vida ha cambiado por completo, convirtiéndose en una rutina de cuidados y tratamientos constantes (quimioterapia), acompañada de miedo e incertidumbre, además de la creciente carga financiera de los gastos médicos. Por eso me dirijo a mis amigos, familiares y a la comunidad a través de esta plataforma, buscando ayuda. Cualquier apoyo que puedan brindarme me ayudará en mi lucha contra esta enfermedad. Hello, my name is Victor Rocha, and I am currently under the care of Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. I am 28 years old. On August 5, 2025, I was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), a serious and potentially life-threatening type of cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow. This diagnosis requires intensive treatment, including a prolonged course of chemotherapy and close medical monitoring. The treatment regimen is not only physically demanding but also emotionally and psychologically challenging. Since this diagnosis, my life has completely changed, turning my world into one of constant care and treatments (chemotherapy), accompanied by fear and uncertainty, along with the ever-growing financial burden of medical expenses. That is why I am reaching out to friends, family, and the community through this platform, seeking help. Any support you can offer would help me in my fight against this disease.
