I moved to Columbus, hoping for a fresh start after escaping a domestic situation. I found a job and thought things were finally turning around, but I was bullied and harassed at work. When I spoke up and made complaints, I was eventually terminated. I never expected to lose my job for trying to do the right thing, and now I’m struggling to keep up with my rent and basic needs.
I’m now facing the real possibility of eviction. I don’t have a way to catch up, and I’m scared about what the future holds. These funds will be used to pay my rent so I can avoid eviction and to buy food, helping me stay in my home and meet my basic needs while I look for new opportunities.
I’m reaching out because I don’t see a way out right now. Any support you can give would mean the world to me and help me get through this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for reading my story and for any help you can offer.
