<div>What started as a simple stop to buy some cookies turned into meeting an incredibly strong little girl and a family fighting for something much bigger.

<div>Harper has a rare vascular condition called Capillary Malformation-Arteriovenous Malformation syndrome, or CM-AVM. It causes abnormal connections between arteries and veins throughout her body and can lead to pain, swelling, bleeding, and serious complications.

<div>Her family has spent countless hours searching for the best treatment available.
</div>

<div>That search has led them to a specialized treatment called Modified Electrosclerotherapy, or MEST, with a team of specialists in Italy. Harper is expected to need multiple trips overseas for treatment, and there is also a possibility she may eventually need surgery.

<div>Between medical expenses, international travel, lodging, transportation, meals, and time away from work, the financial burden on Harper's family is enormous.

Help Harper Get the Life-Changing Treatment She Needs

<div>FinBe USA is raising money to purchase a wheelchair accessible van for <strong>Nathan Corn</strong> as a surprise holiday present. Nathan has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a genetic condition that causes muscle weakness and atrophy (when muscles get smaller). SMA affects a child’s ability to crawl, walk, sit up, and control head movements. Severe SMA can damage the muscles used for breathing and swallowing.

<div>Nathan is 13 years old and lives in Deerfield Beach, FL with his dad, mom, and siblings. He requires around-the-clock care, and his mom learned nursing so she could provide the care he needs 24/7. As you can imagine, Nathan requires a lot of medical care, including many doctor and hospital visits, and requires a mobility vehicle that accommodates a wheelchair and other medical equipment. Right now, the Corns have an older van that’s not equipped to transport Nathan around with his wheelchair.

<div>Our partners, MobilityWorks and Braunability have agreed to discount the cost of a new van for the Corns. We are trying to quickly raise <strong>$70,000 to purchase Nathan's family a new Chrysler wheelchair accessible van with state-of-the-art amenities</strong> so we can present the van to his family over the holidays. It would be a game-changer for them and Nathan.

Hi! We are members of the 2020 Milton Eagles Girls Volleyball team! We are so grateful to have the chance to play volleyball this season, even under these crazy circumstances. Playing volleyball takes a little of the sting out of not having F2F classes.<br /><br />But COVID-19 has done a number on our Booster Club's fundraising abilities. As you can imagine, our local businesses are struggling to stay alive and can't afford to support us like they usually do. We rely on these fundraising dollars to help pay for officials, gym time, our end of year banquet, senior celebration, extra coaching staff, conditioning, and much more.<br /><br />We would really appreciate your help in making the best out of this season with any donation you can provide to help us meet our goal. Milton Girls Volleyball--Help Us Ace Our Season

Our daughter Mackenzie is gone too soon. However, even in her short life she touched and impacted others.  Although she faced personal struggles, she also had a perspective fashioned by numerous trips overseas on short-term mission trips. From Curacao to the Dominican Republic to Ethiopia, Mackenzie's experiences overseas helped fashion her worldview. She was on the runway of life getting ready to take off for a life in service to others, especially those less fortunate.<br /><br />Just as missions can have an impact in the communities they serve, they also transform the participants; their perspective of the world, how they view others, and their relationship with God.<br /><br />To honor Mackenzie Kind Anderson, we will be establishing the Mackenzie Kind Anderson Memorial Mission Fund that will help to subsidize the cost for local teenagers to experience overseas missions. We will raise funds here throughout the month of January before transitioning to our own website. We will award our first scholarship for the summer of 2019. Your donations will determine the size of these scholarships and for how many years they can be offered.<br /><br />Students will be able to apply for missions scholarships through a simple website. The applications will be reviewed by Mackenzie's family, and money will be distributed to fund their efforts. The teenagers who receive the scholarships will simply be asked to write a brief essay after the trip (with pictures) to share how their life has been changed. Mackenzie's website will be updated to share these stories with you so that we can all be connected to this work.<br /><br />In this way, Mackenzie's legacy can live on in countless lives changed overseas, but also in the transformation that will happen in the lives of the local teenagers that go on the mission trips. With this vehicle, her entire family and all that choose to join us in this endeavor can feel a connection to thousands of changed lives. This will be incredibly meaningful to all those that knew Mackenzie as a way to multiply how she lived, and her sweet, caring spirit.<br /><br />We are all so grateful for your consideration of participating in something that we know will honor Mackenzie's legacy forever.

Mackenzie Kind Anderson Memorial Mission

<strong>Destroyed and Devastated.</strong> Two words I would use to describe the loss of the CAGERAGE Sports Facility in Roswell and the feelings of the founder, Mike McDannell, who put his heart and soul into this valued community resource.<br /><br />CAGERAGE was completely destroyed in a fire on Friday, June 16, 2017--fortunately no one was hurt. This facility was a great local resource for youth to practice baseball and softball, along with other sports and activities. It provided joy for children of all ages with birthday parties, team parties, scout events and summer camps. It also employed hard-working teenagers eager to join the workforce.<br /><br />I think it is important to support local businesses trying to make a difference in our community and that is why I would like to help Mike and the owners who LOST EVERYTHING! I know how much Mike put into starting and keeping this business going--and it would be great if we could all pitch in to help!<br /><br />Your generous donation will help them with current obligations and equipment losses not covered by insurance. <div>Our beloved Brian Corn was recently diagnosed with glioblastoma—a rare, aggressive form of brain cancer with a devastating prognosis of less than two years. We are standing in faith with the Corn family, believing that God will move in the miraculous. We’ve seen Him do it before, and we believe He will do it again. We ask the family of faith, along with all who have been touched by Brian’s incredible sweetness and gentle, loving spirit, to please consider supporting them financially during this time of tremendous need.

<div>Right now, the Corn family is stable. Brian’s treatments are extraordinarily expensive. His medications are outrageously priced, his low-inflammation diet costs nearly twice as much as regular meals, and he is unable to return to work for the foreseeable future. Every donated penny will go into an account that Brian and Magdy can access as needs arise for medical and living expenses. Brian is preparing for challenging rounds of chemo and radiation, ongoing medication, a strict diet, and limits on his mobility.

<div>Brian grew up in Wauconda, IL as the oldest of three boys. He moved to South Florida about 20 years ago and now lives in Deerfield Beach. He met his wife, Magdy, at church, and together—through their blended family—they have four children: Tyler (26, Navy veteran), Justin (23), Addison (18), and Nathen (12), who is severely handicapped and requires 24-hour care. Nathen has also been in and out of the hospital recently with lung congestion, making this an especially challenging season for Magdy.
