What Brandon cares about

In a world where people are so divided, I try to provide environments for people to connect on a human level to be able to support each others growth.

This is my own first fundraiser, I’ve never asked for any help until now. Something told me I needed to lean on the community in order to fulfil my potential and give back in ways I know would make such a difference behind the scenes.

Hi, my name is Bran. I’m a chef working 60+ hours a week in an industry that’s stretched thin, where long days, no breaks, and pay far below minimum wage have become the norm. Despite pouring everything I have into my work, I’ve found myself stuck in a cycle of debt that I can’t escape on my own. I’m currently facing £3,000 of debt that’s holding me back from getting my life on track and pursuing the future I know I’m capable of creating. I’ve worked hard to regain control of my mental health, my stability, and my direction — but with only single days off, constant exhaustion, and no support system within my industry, I haven’t been able to make the progress I need. I’m asking for help not to escape responsibility, but to finally break free from a cycle that’s been weighing me down for years. Clearing this debt would give me the breathing room to focus on the things that truly matter: becoming self-sufficient, changing my career path, and following my dream of helping people. My goal is to create a program that teaches underprivileged families how to cook healthy, affordable meals together — strengthening family bonds, improving health, and proving that good food doesn’t have to be expensive. As someone who has spent years cooking professionally, I know that food has the power to transform lives, and I want to bring that power to the people who need it most. Right now, I’m held back by financial strain, long hours, and burnout — but I haven’t lost hope. I know I have the passion, the skills, and the heart to make a difference. I just need a little support to get moving again. If you’re able to donate, share, or offer words of encouragement, it would mean the world to me. Your help would not only allow me to escape debt — it would give me the chance to build a career centered on kindness, community, and helping others live healthier, happier lives. Thank you for reading, and thank you for believing in the possibility of a better future. — Bran
