My family and I recently lost our apartment to a devastating fire. In a matter of hours, everything we owned was gone, and we were left with nothing but the clothes on our backs. The experience has been overwhelming and heartbreaking, especially for my three children who are trying to understand why we can’t go home. I am grateful every day that we all made it out safely, but the reality is that we are now facing the challenge of starting over from scratch. We are reaching out for help because we have nowhere to lay our heads, no clothes to wear, and no food to eat. The funds raised will go directly toward replacing essential items for our family and helping us find a safe place to live.
