My name is Michelle, and I’m reaching out because I’ve been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I’m preparing for a double mastectomy, reconstructive breast surgery, and reconstructive ankle surgery. These procedures are necessary for my health, but they also mean I’ll be away from work for at least half a year, if not longer. Recently, I started a new job that pays much less than my previous one, so the financial impact of this diagnosis is even greater. With extended time off for surgeries and recovery, I’m worried about keeping up with my bills and basic living expenses. The uncertainty of how I’ll manage everything while focusing on healing is overwhelming at times. I’m asking for your support to help cover my bills and living costs while I recover.
