It’s my birthday! This year, instead of gifts, I’m asking for donations to support Kidney Donor Athletes, Inc. Their mission to promote the gift of life through living kidney donation resonates deeply with me. I believe in the power of community to inspire and support individuals facing kidney challenges, and I want to celebrate my special day by giving back. Your contributions will help Kidney Donor Athletes in their important work, including: Providing educational resources to individuals about living kidney donation. Building a supportive community for donors and recipients to share their experiences. Join me in making a meaningful impact this birthday. Every donation, no matter the size, can help bring us closer to a world where there are enough living donors for everyone in need. Thank you for your generosity!
Update..jan 21,2026 I had a second transplant 3 weeks ago which was a liver and kidney from a deceased owner. So far recover is good. Still trying to build endurance and strength. Wound is healing slower than expected but it's coming along. Financially I have no money coming in. Trying to get ssdi. But takes forever. Already lost my car. And utilities are not being paid. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you if already donated. My name is Denise Ratterree and I am in need of a liver. I found out that I have cirrhosis. I am currently on the donor list, but disability money doesn't give enough for everyday expenses. Any amount is appreciated to help me through this. The struggles of not worrying about expenses would be greatly loved. In need, my blood type that can be used is B or O. If you are willing to try and be a donor, i would only need a small portion. I am going through Stanford Liver Transplant Center in San Jose, CA for any information.
