BUBR AFRICA: SENEGAL

<div>In the Summer of 2024, I, along with other people from my school, will be going on a 3-week expedition to Borneo. The aim is to develop character, and resilience and be empowered to tackle life's challenges and reach full potential, whilst giving back to the community on a global scale. We will be learning survival skills and trekking through the jungle. We will also be working with the community, teaching sustainable living and contributing to conservation projects for turtles, sun bears and orangutans.

NATHAN-ASHER'S BORNEO EXPEDITION 2024

In the summer of 2019 I, along with other girls from my school, will be taking part in a 3 week expedition to Uganda with the company Terra Nova Expeditions. There we will be working with the Living Hope Orphanage and School undertaking both manual labour to improve infrastructure and teaching of the pupils at the school. <br /><br />My goal is to raise £3000 for the expedition as this cost covers everything including the cost of the materials we will use out in Uganda.<br /><br />I would be grateful for any amount you are able to donate to this worthy cause. <div>The Black Unity Bike Ride (BUBR) is a registered charity (charity number 1208033) that inspires holistic wellness amongst the Black community. Our flagship activation is an annual 17-mile bike ride across London, passing many of the capital's iconic landmarks.

<div>There is under-representation of Black cyclists at all levels of the sport, from the elite standard to grassroots. BUBR serves its community and aims to increase ethnic diversity within the sport of cycling via its three core values; Unity, Empowerment and Love.
