<div>My name is Angelina Mayberry, and I created this campaign for my friend Fahmi, a young man living in Gaza who is doing everything he can to care for his family of eight under extremely difficult circumstances. I have known Fahmi for the past eight months, and I stay in regular contact with him. I can personally vouch for his situation and share updates about how the٦ funds raised here are helping his family meet their essential needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I will post regular updates so supporters can see how their generosity is making a difference. Here is Fahmi’s story, in his own words.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My Story
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Fahmi, and I live in Gaza. Since our home was destroyed, I have carried the responsibility of helping provide for my family of eight. My parents suffer from chronic illnesses, and I do everything I can to care for them and my five younger siblings: Haya (18), Mohammad (16), Ahmed (14), Reem (11), and Muslim (8).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our family has endured enormous hardship. We lost our home, our belongings, and our source of income. For years, we have struggled to survive in a tent that offers little protection from the heat, cold, rain, and the dangers surrounding us. We have experienced repeated displacement and uncertainty, and there have been days when obtaining enough food and clean water has been difficult.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During the famine, I was struck in the head by shrapnel while searching for food. My father also suffered a serious hand injury when a missile struck near the place where we were sheltering. Despite everything we have experienced, I continue to do everything I can to support my family and help my younger siblings continue their education.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My family and I have lost so much, but we have not given up hope for a more stable future. We want the opportunity to live safely, have a proper home, receive the medical care we need, and rebuild our lives with dignity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Education remains one of my greatest hopes. I am pursuing my university studies in cybersecurity and want to build a future in which I can support my family with greater stability. My sister Haya also dreams of continuing her education and hopes to become a doctor. I want all my younger siblings to have the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their own ambitions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am asking for help because the challenges my family faces are too great for one young person to overcome alone. Every contribution, no matter the size, can help us meet our basic needs and take a step toward a safer, more stable life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What Your Donation Will Help Provide
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Food and clean water: Helping feed eight family members and meet our daily needs.
</div>
<div>- Medical care and medication: Helping my parents manage their chronic illnesses and addressing our family's medical needs.
</div>
<div>- Safe and stable housing: Helping us move beyond the insecurity of living in a tent and find a safer place to live.
</div>
<div>- Education: Supporting school supplies and educational expenses so my siblings can continue learning.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you cannot donate, sharing this campaign can also make a meaningful difference by helping our story reach more people.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking the time to read our story and for standing beside my family during this difficult time. Your kindness provides practical help and gives us hope for a safer and more stable future.
</div>

Help Fahmi Keep His Family of Eight Safe in Gaza

<div>Hello everyone,
</div>
<div>My name is Karem, a passionate student and designer trying to secure my future through education. I am writing this campaign today because I am facing severe financial hardship that threatens my ability to continue my university studies.
</div>
<div>Despite my hard work, dedication, and active effort to balance my studies with practical projects, the rising tuition fees and cost of living have made it impossible for my family and me to cover the remaining expenses for this academic year.
</div>
<div>Education is my only pathway to building a stable life and giving back to my community. I am determined to finish my degree, but I cannot do it alone.
</div>
<div>How your support will help:
</div>
<div>Tuition Fees: $[350]
</div>
<div>Study Materials &amp; Educational Expenses: $[1750]
</div>
<div>Total Goal: $[2000]
</div>
<div>Every single dollar makes a real difference to my future. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your friends and network would mean the world to me.
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, generosity, and support.
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
<div>Karem

Help Karam Survive in Gaza

<div>Hello,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Ezzaldeen, a student from Gaza. I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor so I can save lives, help people, and give hope to those who suffer. Today, I am asking for your support because my family is facing a critical situation, and my mother’s life depends on receiving proper medical care.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My Mother’s Fight and My Family’s Struggle
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mother has been battling blood cancer (leukemia) since 2010. After many years of fighting this illness, her condition has become very difficult, and she urgently needs specialized medical treatment and evacuation outside Gaza to receive the care she needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Watching my mother suffer while being unable to provide her with the treatment she deserves has been one of the hardest experiences of my life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My father also suffers from severe asthma and chronic respiratory problems and requires continuous treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105910153_1783741521224886_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because of the destruction and the difficult circumstances in Gaza, my family is struggling to afford medical care, basic needs, and a safe life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/105910153_1783741624159101_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our monthly medical and living expenses are approximately:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$800 per month
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My Dream of Becoming a Doctor
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Despite everything we have faced, I completed high school with a 92% grade. My dream is to study Human Medicine and become a doctor—not only to build my future, but also to help my family and serve people who are suffering.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>The estimated cost to begin my medical education, including tuition fees, books, transportation, and basic living needs, is approximately:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>$5,000 USD for my first year
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why I Need Your Help
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I never imagined that I would have to ask strangers for help, but today my family needs support to survive and my mother needs a chance to receive treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donation can help us cover urgent medical needs, support my mother’s journey to receive care, and help me continue my path toward becoming a doctor.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even a small donation or sharing my story can make a life-changing difference.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading my story, for your kindness, and for standing with my family during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,

Help Ezzaldeen from Gaza Save His Mother’s Life and Continue

<div>My name is Ahmed, and this is my family. We are 7 people struggling to survive after our home was completely destroyed. We lost everything we owned and now live in a small tent without safety, stability, or any source of income.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/103752529_1788646773947391_r.jpg" width="100%" />

<div>My mother is fighting cancer, and every day matters.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She urgently needs to travel outside Gaza to receive the treatment she needs, but the cost is far beyond what I can afford. We are living in extremely difficult conditions, and I am doing everything I can to help her fight this disease.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My greatest wish is to see my mother receive the treatment she deserves and have the chance to get better. I cannot do this alone.
</div>
<div>My father has suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure for more than 35 years. Because of his illness and the harsh conditions we are living in, he often goes through dangerous health episodes that leave him weak and exhausted. Sometimes, we cannot even afford basic food or something sweet to help him recover during these moments.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/103752529_1788647270449149_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I carry the responsibility of caring for my family and my younger siblings, but every day feels heavier than the last. We struggle to provide food, clean water, medicine, clothes, and even the smallest sense of security.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/103752529_1788647548951202_r.jpg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign is our only hope to survive and rebuild our lives with dignity. Any donation, no matter how small, could help save my family and provide medicine, food, and shelter for us.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your kindness could help a family that has lost everything. ❤️

Update: Xana has been out of the hospital for about 3 weeks. She is unable to work, has limited mobility and is on a lot of medication. She needs your help now more than ever while we wait for Medicaid and disability to kick in.

<div>This fund is primarily for the immediate needs of our neighbors in Allston-Brighton impacted by immigration detention. Since we’re not a nonprofit, we can be flexible with what help we offer: we’ve used this fund to give people commissary funds while in detention, pay their bonds, help loved ones pay for rent and groceries in their absence, and support with limited legal/application fees. We collaborate with BIJAN (Boston Immigration Justice Accompaniment Network) and work to supplement the funds they offer. We’ve built relationships with many Allston-Brighton families to assess their needs, and we are expanding our network to find more people who could use these funds.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re also anchored in our work by the Brazilian Women’s Group, a Brighton-based organization of Brazilian immigrants that supports impacted people throughout Massachusetts. We’ve connected with a large number of people currently in detention and provided them commissary funds. These funds are crucial, as a commissary deposit is one of the only pieces of material support we can give to people being held in detention facilities, where their basic needs might not be met.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve currently spent about $75,000 of the money raised on this GoFundMe and via our neighborhood fundraisers. We are so grateful for every single donation, large or small. We especially encourage people to become monthly donors, because a steady flow of money lets us be more certain about what we can offer to impacted people.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>When someone in our neighborhood is targeted, detained, or otherwise harmed by the government’s increasingly cruel immigration policies, the entire community feels the pain. But through community efforts like this fund, we can make sure no one faces these challenges alone.</strong>

<div>Y’all know how much we love our pug, Rudy. Today he escaped our yard somehow (gates were still closed) and someone hit him with a car and drove away. He needs emergency surgery and has to back broken femurs. He’s our baby and any help will mean the world. Even sharing the word helps. He’s still a baby.

My sister, a single mother of 3 had her car stolen, and was shot 9 times leaving her traumatized and disabled. My mom is doing her best to take care of it all while working a full time job and its an extremely stressful and traumatizing situation for my entire family.  This money would go to cover medical expenses, child care and relocating my family for their safety as the person who committed the crime has yet to be taken into police custody. Grateful for any donation made, the assistance would be a huge relief for my family.

Over the night on April 3rd, 2020, my personal music/art studio in Brooklyn was somehow broken in to and robbed. Every single piece of music and recording equipment i own was taken. This is my livelihood, and these are the tools and sonic weapons that i have used for years to express myself and create the sounds that have been on all of my albums as Pictureplane. The equipment i use to perform live shows is also gone. I have no brand sponsorships, no monetary help from any sources, and am a fully DIY artist who pays for everything out of my own pocket.  I feel so violated and I am shocked and heartbroken, and i am really at a loss of what to do. I feel helpless. Anything people can help with would mean so much. <br />here is a list of things that were stolen:<br /><br />Access Virus Ti2 desktop synth-  $2000<br />bicycle - $500<br />microphones - $200<br />iphone- $400<br />2 MicroKorg synths - $850<br />Roland JD-xi synth - $500<br />MOTU audio express interface - $250<br />3 Rokit KRK 6 studio monitors - $600<br />Arturia Beatstep pro - $250<br />Roland SP-404 Dr. sample - $300<br />Allen and Heath ZED-10FX mixer - $350<br />Elektron Digitone synth - $750<br />Roland TR-8 drum machine - $700<br />Multiple delay, distortion, and looper pedals - $500<br />Dell Desktop computer - $400<br />17 inch screen monitor - $100<br />bags of wires and cables - $100

Miguel's 18 month old son went to the hospital last Thursday June 21st for brain aneurysm and the doctors didn't catch it in time the aneurysm already erupted. Miguel's son has been through two brain surgeries since then, but the swelling of the brain got worse so the doctors had to put him in an induced coma. Saturday June 23rd doctors said, part of the baby's brain is dying so they took him off the induced coma to see if he will make it. Today June 25th doctors are running a series of test to see if the baby’s brain is functional or not. If Thiago fails any of the test they will pronounce brain dead and the time of death. Miguel and his pregnant wife are not working during this tragic event in their life's. I Lief Deitch will be paying more than half of all expenses, but I cannot do it alone. No parent should ever have to go through this. His family needs help paying for any medical expensesand If baby Thiago doesn't make it we also need to help pay for funeral expenses. Please anything will help! Thank you.
