Dear friends and supporters, My name is Laura, I also go by Lola. I am reaching out for help during these difficult times as my husband (26) has fallen quite ill, he is currently on dialysis as a result of kidney failure. As of right now one kidney is completely nonfunctional and the other is working at less than 13%, his heart also isn’t doing too good as he is needing a valve transplant. I (25) am a stay at home wife and mom to our 3 month old son and despite my great efforts, finding a job myself has been super super tough! Feels almost impossible! -I’m hoping to surprise my husband with this gio electric scooter, I call it a mini car thingy. As money is extremely tight, we can no longer afford Ubers from the shelter we are staying in and he can’t walk the 8 miles to the hospital and back for treatment 3+ times a week.. any sort of help/support I could get saving up towards this for him would be absolutely appreciated and I would be so so extremely grateful! -Thank you to everyone that has sent us positive vibes, well wishes and prayers !
