Our family is coming together to support Marcus, who has been battling over the last 2 years with undiagnosed tumors, finally after his 5th surgery on his neck..at just 36 years old he has been diagnosed with spindle cell cancer. This diagnosis has turned his world upside down in ways no one could ever prepare for.  We are urgently trying to get access to a specialized medication that has the potential to slow or stop the growth of the protein cells causing his cancer. Unfortunately, this treatment is not currently fully covered, and the cost is extremely high, approximately $18,000 for just 21 capsules. This medication could make a critical difference in his fight, but it is financially out of reach without help. He isn’t just a patient, he’s an incredible father to his son, a loving family member, and someone who has shown up for the people he cares about. Right now, he needs us to show up for him. As he continues this difficult fight, he is facing not only the emotional and physical toll of cancer, but also the overwhelming financial burden that comes with treatment, medical bills, travel, and everyday expenses. This has caused him to be unable to work and enjoy life. As you can tell in the photos he loves the outdoors, especially getting to take his son on the adventure and this has caused him to not be able to. His main focus needs to be healing and spending precious time with his son, not worrying about how to make ends meet.
