<div>Hurricane Melissa devastated our communities in Jamaica and destroyed our over 100-year-old Perth Town/ Bellevue United Church— a place of worship, learning, and unity for generations. We’re raising funds to rebuild the church and help restore damaged homes. Every donation brings hope back to our community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rebuild Hope. Rebuild Home. Rebuild Our Church.
</div>
<div>Dear Friends, Family, and Community Partners,
</div>
<div>We reach out today with humble and heavy hearts. Our communities in Jamaica is facing one of the most devastating moments in our lifetime. Hurricane Melissa swept through with unimaginable power, destroying homes, families’ livelihoods, and places we cherished deeply.
</div>
<div>Among the greatest losses is our beloved church — a historic landmark over 100 years old (Bellevue United Church)
</div>
<div>This church was never just a building.
It was the heart of our community.
</div>
<div>✨ It was where generations learned to read
</div>
<div>✨ Where school lessons were once taught
</div>
<div>✨ Where families prayed together
✨ Where elders found strength and comfort
</div>
<div>✨ Where children grew in faith, love, and unity
</div>
<div>Today, it stands in ruins. The walls are damaged, the roof torn away, and the inside left unrecognizable. But what remains intact is the spirit, the memories, and the legacy this church carries.
</div>
<div>Now, we have an opportunity to rebuild not just structures — but hope.
</div>
<div>We are launching this fundraiser to:
</div>
<div>️ Rebuild our historic over 100-year-old church
</div>
<div>Help restore damaged homes for affected families
</div>
<div>Support community recovery after Hurricane Melissa
</div>
<div>This church has shaped countless lives. And with your help, it will continue to shape many more.
</div>
<div>We are asking for your support — whether through financial contributions, donated materials, volunteer help, or simply sharing this campaign. No gift is too small. Every act of kindness brings us one step closer to restoration.
</div>
<div>Let us stand together as one community, one family, and one people determined to rise again.
</div>
<div>Thank you for your prayers, your generosity, and your compassion.
May God bless you abundantly for all you do.
</div>
<div>Let’s rebuild history. Let’s rebuild home. Let’s rebuild our church.

Restore Perth Town Over 100-Year Old Church after Melissa

<div>This project aims to repair the old building that was formerly the Bellevue all-age old school and convert it into a multi-purpose community outreach center. The building sits on the Bellevue United church’s property, and has been vacant, in need of repairs and out of use for some time now.
</div>
<div>The goal is to help the church carry out well needed repairs to the building and to do several projects that will benefit the immediate and surrounding communities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are proposing to establish:
</div>
<div>1. A Senior center to be a meeting place for the older adult, where they will be engaged in various activities aimed at serving their social needs. This includes, but not limited to establishing a Counseling center, hosting community events, various gatherings and meetings such as a Senior Citizens Club, Book Club, Arts and Craft activities, etc.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>2. A Food distribution center will be set up to serve hot meals. A fully functional kitchen will be required to make this a reality. This includes repairs to the water supply.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>3. A Community Garden is proposed to be established on the premises – this will serve as a means of physical and community engagement as well as to contribute to the food pantry by way of producing short term crops.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To help make this a reality your financial support is greatly appreciated. Please donate using this page or at the Bellevue church’s office.
</div>
<div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We look forward to partnering with you in this venture. Whatever assistance that can be given in donations, or time will be highly appreciated. Thank you so very much for your commitment .
</div>

</div>
<div>Much Blessings,
