Support Annie Walsh in Her Fight for Health and Stability!
A Heart Bigger Than Her Circumstances!
Annie is the single mother of two grown children and a fiercely loving grandmother to five beautiful grandkids — her pride, joy, and constant motivation. For more than 25 years, she’s been a loyal and hardworking waitress at the Platte River Bar & Grill, where she’s known for her incredible work ethic, sharp wit, and a customer service style that keeps people coming back — always delivered with a side of sarcasm and laughter. But now, after a sudden and serious health decline, Annie is facing a devastating medical crisis that has left her unable to work and fighting to stay afloat.
Whether she’s tossing out a one-liner that leaves the whole table laughing or rolling her eyes just enough to let you know she loves you — Annie is sass and heart, wrapped in one unforgettable woman. She doesn’t sugarcoat anything (unless it’s on a dessert plate), but she’ll give you honesty, loyalty, and love in spades. She’s built a reputation not just for her service, but for her sharp tongue, loud laugh, and fierce ability to turn a rough day into a good story. If you’ve ever sat in her section, you didn’t just get a meal — you got a show, a friend, and probably a little bit of lovingly dished-out sarcasm.
“Huge thanks to everyone who’s been there for Annie. This illness may force her into retirement she can’t afford. She’s very, very sick, hasn’t been able to work or drive, and can’t get by without help. Share, share, share — every post, text, and tag helps keep her bills covered and her fight going.”
She’s the kind of woman who:
• Lifts others up with laughter, even while carrying her own pain
• She finds humor in the hard moments and always knows how to brighten someone else’s darkest day
• She’s the first to crack a joke, the last to complain, and the one you can count on to lift your spirits when you didn’t even realize you needed it
• Transforms hardship into beauty — through her paintings, handcrafted candles, sketches, and keychains that she lovingly made for others
• Cooks from the soul — expressing herself through food, even though she hasn’t been able to do so recently due to her declining health
• Puts everyone else first, always showing up for others with unmatched loyalty, kindness, and strength
If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing Annie, you already know — she would give you the shirt off her back, no questions asked.
But now, Annie is the one who needs help, and the obstacles she’s facing go far beyond her health.

Her Health Is Deteriorating Fast
Annie is very ill.
Over the last several weeks, her condition has worsened dramatically. She has been:
• In and out of the hospital
• Undergoing extensive testing
• Receiving two emergency blood transfusions
• Recovering from biopsies related to possible cancer
• Scheduled for an MRI to evaluate internal complications
She is extremely weak, unable to care for herself, and often too dizzy or disoriented to even stand for long periods. Her energy is depleted. Her ability to eat, walk, or complete even simple tasks is limited. This is not just exhaustion — this is her body shutting down, and the road ahead is unclear and terrifying.
She is doing her best to stay positive, but this is the most critical health challenge she has ever faced — and she shouldn’t have to face it alone.

️ Additional Struggles at Home
As Annie battles this overwhelming medical crisis, she’s also dealing with added stress at home. Her apartment has fallen into disrepair, and despite multiple requests, maintenance issues remain unresolved. While not the focus of this campaign, it’s yet another weight on her shoulders during a time when rest, comfort, and safety should be her only concern.
She’s unable to move due to her lease, and her energy is being drained by things that should be simple — but aren’t. We hope that, with enough support, she can finally breathe again and recover in peace.
