An update from Horria, shared on her behalf ❤️ Today (September 29th) is her 34th birthday. Horria's phone is broken and there's no internet at her tent in Khan Younis, so she walked to a café just to send me news. She asked me to share it with all of you. Since May, Horria and her children have been living in a tent in Khan Younis after their family home became at risk of collapsing. The tent is torn and in very poor condition, and they are living close to the Yellow Line - a dangerous active military zone. Here's what the family is facing right now: • Suwar's leg is broken. She needs a cast, which costs around $800, and she is in a lot of pain. Medical supplies in Gaza are extremely scarce. • Horria has lost hearing in her right ear and needs a tube inserted (about $1,000). Until then she's getting by on painkillers. • Lamar cannot speak yet. She needs to see a speech therapist, plus vitamins. • The children have started school but have no uniforms, shoes, backpacks, or basic supplies. • Food is very limited, and the family urgently needs food and pain medication. In Horria's words: "Please don't forget us. Any help in sharing my campaign would mean so much to me and my children." How you can help: 1. Donate any amount. Every bit goes toward medical care, food, and school needs. 2. Share this campaign with friends, family, and coworkers. Horria can't share it herself right now, so your shares truly are her voice. Thank you to everyone who has already given. Horria asked me to tell you how grateful she is and that she prays for your families' safety. ❤️
