What they care about

Hi, my name is Sophina, and I’m reaching out to share that my dad, Jose Garcia, passed away after a brave battle with cancer. He was a beloved resident of Buellton, CA, and a man who truly loved the countryside. Known throughout the Valley for his big heart, generous spirit, and incredible talent as one of the best auto body men, my dad left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. Everything he accomplished, he taught himself, and the cars he restored remain a beautiful testament to his incredible skill and dedication. If you own a vehicle he worked on, or remember him from his days with the Bravados, we invite you to join us in honoring his memory. A few weeks before his passing, he said he didn’t want to be “chicken shit” he wanted, more than anything, for his brothers from the Bravados and the Carnales to attend his celebration of life. He believed everyone deserves a proper “see you later,” and we’re holding this service to give him just that. With the holidays approaching, we’re still finalizing the date and details for his celebration. All funds raised will go toward memorial expenses, including the venue, food, candles, t-shirts, flowers, and other essentials to help us celebrate the man he was and the legacy he leaves behind. My dad was a kind and selfless soul who would help anyone in need. His spirit and love will live on in all of us who were fortunate enough to know him. Whether you crossed paths with him through his work, his friendships, or his time with the Bravados, we hope you’ll consider joining us in celebrating his life. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. I will have my dad’s phone and will keep it in operating mode from here on out, so I’ll be available to connect with anyone who wants more information. Thank you for helping us honor the life of this incredible man. Your love and support mean the world to us. With love and gratitude, Sophina
