I am living with a permanent colostomy, and it has changed every part of my daily life. I run out of supplies quickly, and my insurance only covers a limited amount each month. There are days when I don’t have any supplies left, and I have to use a towel because I have too many accidents. It’s difficult not knowing when I’ll have a bowel movement, and I feel limited in what I can do. I can’t lift anything heavy, walk too much, sit for long periods, or even sleep comfortably on my stomach.
The cost of colostomy supplies is very high, and I often can’t afford to buy what I need. This makes daily life even more challenging and stressful.
Any support—whether it’s a donation or sharing my fundraiser—would mean so much to me. Your help will go directly toward purchasing the supplies I need to live with dignity and comfort. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can give.
