<div>Hello everyone here!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Earlier in the year we ran a fundraiser for surgical equipment in Gaza. Thanks to the kindness and generosity of the local community, we raised over €15,000 that helped Dr Mohammed Shalaan and a cohort of doctors perform over 100 life saving emergency operations in the European hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The two trips, which happened in April and June, were very fruitful. However as the death toll rises from the ongoing conflict, and the injuries continue to accumulate, the ongoing need for humanitarian aid in the area continues to .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dr Shalaan, orthopedic surgeon currently working in Tallaght University Hospital Co Dublin, is organising another trip to Gaza planned on 22nd October 2024. The goal is to source orhtopedic implants and surgical equipment from Eygpt and cross via the humanitarian corridor at the Rafah crossing in northeast Egypt, similar to the two prior trips.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The invoice is attached details the breakdown and cost of the targeted acquisition of orthopaedic implants and surgical equipment from Egypt. The value of 4,641,250 equates to approximately €86,000.
</div>

</div>
<div>And whoever saves one [a life] - it is
</div>
<div>as if he had saved mankind entirely up
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we can start with raising the first €10,000 - Any generosity would be greatly appreciated.

Surgical equipment & orthopedic implants for Gaza

<div>Hi. The medical community of Ireland has established this fund raiser to help our dear departed colleague Dr Farah's funeral , burial and also to help her family back home financially . Dr Farah was working as orthopedic Reg in Mayo University Hospital. She was very professional , intelligent , friendly , helpfull , bright and aspiring young doctor who had her full career ahead of her. Unfortunately she left for her heavenly abode after her car fell into a river. She was the sole breadwinner of the family. May she rest in peace.
</div>

Plz donate generously for our colleague Dr Farah
