Hi, my name is david, and I advocate for recovering addicts, throughout South florida. We are in the business of reopening yet, another men's sober living home, which would make it number three. We've had much success and appreciate those, who have donated in the past. Recovering addicts need a safe place to go, when released from treatment and detox centers. We enjoy bringing back sober living homes, that have failed in the past. It's simply a way for us to give back, to the communitys that we once disrupted, and at the same time helping others along the way, in a positive and productive way. Thanks
Good morning my name is david, and I'm asking for help in euthanizing our cat Shadow. She's been very ill for over 10 days now, and hasn't eaten a thing, and is slowly slipping away, but the agony of watching her go through so much pain, unbearable to continue watching. The humane society says they will euthanize her for $150 any donations would be greatly appreciated. We love her dearly she was with us for about 7 years, and I honestly think it was too soon for her to go, but I've learned that acceptance is important, in letting go and moving on with life Thanks

My name is David and I advocate for mens Sober living homes. Living in sober homes can prove to be difficult enough as it is, as we learn to accept and understand where we are in life today, for most of us being away from family or not having anything or anyone to go back to usually after treatment, can really prove to be a struggle in itself. Sober Living homes are designed to help the recovering men feel safe and and focus on the primary goals of healing, and to have a place to call home. as we all know food snap assistance has been cut off, and because of this the uncertainty of having food and how to obtain it. I was born in this country and never thought I would see anything like this. The conversations I have had with some of the men yesterday, totally devastated my heart. We set up this fundraiser as a temporary solution, to give time for the men to find other ways to buy food. And this is where I come in, as a grateful recovering addict, who once upon a Time, needed the same type of support. We will be running the GoFundMe account, until things have subsided or at least, until we can figure out a different way to feed the home. Thanks for any future donations, all of it will be greatly appreciated. I have become the man that I am today, because of the structure and love and attention, that I received in Sober Living homes, almost 4 years now, and my heart is still full of gratitude, for those who saw me, and found it in their heart to help. I'm simply giving back, what was so freely given to me, when I needed it the most, in those moments of darkness and uncertainty. This is my mission in life.
