<div>There are some moments in life when words simply aren’t enough.
</div>
<div>Our beloved Dylan Goddard was taken from us far too soon, leaving behind his family, his mates, his teammates and an entire community struggling to understand how someone so young, so full of life and with so much still ahead of him could be gone.
</div>

<div>Dylan was a much-loved son, brother, mate and teammate. He was a young man who brought laughter, kindness and plenty of mischief wherever he went. To those who knew him, Dylan was simply one of our own — a lovable larrikin who made an impression on everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.
</div>
<div>Only weeks ago, Dylan stood alongside his teammates celebrating their U18 Premiership. It was a day filled with smiles, laughter and memories that his teammates and friends will treasure forever. Those memories now carry an even greater meaning.
</div>
<div>We have created this fundraiser to help Dylan's brother with the costs of giving him the farewell he deserves. Losing someone so young and unexpectedly brings an enormous emotional burden, and the financial cost of a funeral can make an already devastating time even harder.
</div>

<div>Any money raised above the costs of Dylan's funeral and associated expenses will be given to his brother, Aidan Goddard, to help support him and give him a helping hand as he starts the next chapter of his life.
</div>
<div>This is an opportunity for Dylan's mates, teammates, family, the Bridgewater community and everyone who knew and loved him to come together and support Aidan during a time when he needs it most.
</div>

<div>Jarrod has recently commenced treatment following a devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 Oesophageal Cancer. At just 44 yrs old, this has been an incredibly difficult and life-changing diagnosis.
</div>
<div>Jarrod is a devoted husband to his wife Donna, and a loving father to their four children, Max, Riley, Tyson, and Sienna.
</div>
<div>While their future is uncertain, one thing we can do is rally around them. As they navigate this immense and challenging time, the last thing we want them to be worrying about is financial stress. Donna will also need to take time away from her work as a teacher, to support Jarrod through treatment, attend appointments, and care for their family, creating additional financial pressure during an already overwhelming period.
</div>
<div>Please consider supporting them in any way you can. Your donations will help ensure Donna and the kids can focus on spending precious time with Jarrod, without the added burden of financial pressure.

<div>Funds will also assist with much-needed landscaping, including urgent structural and accessibility improvements to the front yard. This work will be coordinated by the Maiden Gully Eagles football club and carried out with the help of very generous volunteers.
