For Bart Churches

Nathan is starting this fundraiser for Bart Churches, a friend and detention officer with the Teton County Sheriff’s Office. Bart was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash after striking a black bear on Pine Creek Pass in Bonneville County, Idaho. After the crash, Bart was airlifted for emergency care and has since been in the intensive care unit at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. This has been a heartbreaking and unexpected situation for someone who means so much to the people around him, and Bart’s loved ones are now facing the difficult days ahead one step at a time.

The support raised through this fundraiser will help ease some of the financial pressure by helping with medical bills, family time away from work, travel, and recovery expenses. Right now, the focus is on Bart’s care and healing, and any help can make a meaningful difference for Bart and those standing by his side. If you are able, please support Bart by sharing this fundraiser and keeping him in your thoughts during this incredibly hard time.

Support for Bart Churches

We are Idaho Falls Firefighters I.A.F.F. Local 1565, organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the families of the fallen and injured firefighters from the tragic incident in North Idaho. On June 29, EMS personnel were ambushed while responding to a brush fire. This horrific event took the lives of Battalion Chief Frank Harwood and Battalion Chief John Morrison, while Captain Dave Tysdal remains in critical condition. These brave individuals were not only firefighters they were parents, spouses, neighbors, and valued members of their communities.

Our goal is to ease some of the financial burdens these families are facing. Donations raised here will go toward:
Funeral and memorial costs for the fallen firefighters
Support for the injured firefighter and their family
Trauma and grief support services
Any additional needs that may arise for the affected families

All funds will be delivered directly to the families through trusted local fire department contacts and community partners we’re working with. We will provide updates as donations are distributed to ensure full transparency.
If you’ve been looking for a way to show your support, this is it. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference, and sharing this fundraiser helps too.
