<div>          Just because a person doesn’t put hands on you, that doesn’t mean they aren’t abusive. Abuse is control, blatant disrespect, hurtful words, constantly getting put down, degrading you, humiliating you, blaming you, excluding you and the list goes on.

<div>          I will never know or understand how court didn’t go as planned for me a year ago. What I do know is now I have another chance. A chance to go back to court and fight for what’s right for me and my children. To not have to constantly worry about how my children are feeling or being treated.

<div>         A mother feels her children’s pain more deeply than they do. It’s sad how many parents or step parents put their revenge agenda ahead of a child’s wellbeing.

<div>        I’ve researched and had consultations with lawyers. I found one that checks all my boxes, unfortunately out of my price range. Nobody wants to ask for help but as a parent we will do anything for our kids right? I know it’s not the ideal time of year but unfortunately I have to get the process started stat.

Today, our family experienced something no parent is ever prepared for. My son and daughter were involved in a serious car accident. His car was completely totaled, and our daughter was taken to the hospital. By the grace of God, they are both still here—but the physical, emotional, and financial impact is something we are now trying to navigate. We do have insurance, but as many know, that doesn’t cover everything. Between hospital bills, deductibles, and the loss of a vehicle, the weight of it all is more than we can carry on our own right now.

 The funds raised will help us pay for the hospital bills and allow us to get a cheap car for my son so he can get to work and school. We are doing our best to stay afloat without drowning under everything hitting us at once. It’s hard to even say this, but we need help. If you feel led to help in any way—whether it’s prayers, sharing this, or any form of support—it would mean more to our family than words can truly express. Every bit of kindness, love, and support will be received with the deepest gratitude and appreciation.
