3 Little Girls. 1 Urgent Mission. Save Paisley.

Hi, my name is Steph. I’m a single mom to three incredible girls: Julia (8), Kennedy (7), and Paisley (3). Right now, our family is facing the biggest challenge of our lives — and we need your help.

Paisley, my youngest, was born with a rare and complex congenital heart defect called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS MA/AA).

She has fought through countless surgeries and procedures in her short life. She’s a warrior. But now, her only chance at survival is a high risk fontan procedure to bridge her until she receives a heart transplant (she has been listed for a heart transplant since October of 2023) — and the only place with the expertise to give her that chance is Boston Children’s Hospital.

We are preparing for a permanent relocation from Utah to Boston so Paisley can receive the life-saving care she needs. This move isn’t optional — it’s a matter of life and death.

While many hospitals can handle standard surgeries for HLHS, Paisley’s condition is especially complex. Boston Children’s is the only hospital in the world equipped to manage her specific care. We’ve been told by specialists that this is the only team who can handle her unique anatomy and give her a real shot at life.

The costs are overwhelming.

We’re raising $50,000 to cover the essentials:

Housing costs near the hospital so we can stay together as a family

Medical-related expenses not covered by insurance

Basic needs as I pause school to care for my children full time.

Moving and relocation costs for a safe, permanent transition to Boston

To ensure transparency and accountability, all funds will be placed into a Special Needs Trust.

This allows every dollar to go directly toward supporting Paisley and our family as we make this life-saving move.

I also live with a congenital heart condition myself called Ebstein’s Anomaly, and I’ve had multiple heart procedures, including an open heart surgery. My own experience with heart disease has shaped my dream of becoming a cardiologist someday — to give back and help others like my daughter. I’m a pre-med student working toward that goal, even as I care for my children and navigate this journey.

This has not been easy. But I will never stop fighting for my girls.
