 Help Save our Loves Park VFW Post 9759
</div>
<div>
 <br>
</div>
<div>
 Please help us save a place that has served our veterans and our community for years.
</div>
<div>
 Loves Park VFW Post 9759 is facing closure because the cost of maintaining the building, paying the bills, and keeping up with necessary expenses has become more than the Post can afford.
</div>
<div>
 This is not simply about saving a building.
</div>
<div>
 It is about saving a home for our veterans.
</div>
<div>
 Post 9759 has been a place where veterans can come together, find friendship and support, share stories, remember those who served before them, and continue the traditions of service and camaraderie. It has also been a place for families, friends, and members of the Loves Park community to come together for events, fundraisers, celebrations, and important occasions.
</div>
<div>
 Unfortunately, the ongoing costs of the building—maintenance, utilities, repairs, insurance, and everyday bills—have become increasingly difficult to manage. Without help from our community, we may lose this important part of Loves Park.
</div>
<div>
 We believe our veterans deserve better than to lose the place they have called home because the bills became too difficult to handle.
</div>
<div>
 We are asking our community, local businesses, fellow veterans, families, friends, and anyone who believes in supporting those who served to come together and help us keep Post 9759 open.
</div>
<div>
 Our goal is to raise funds to help with the costs necessary to keep the building operating and give the Post a chance to remain open and continue serving our veterans and community.
</div>
<div>
 Why Your Help Matters
</div>
<div>
 Every donation helps.
</div>
<div>
 A $10 donation helps pay a bill.
</div>
<div>
 A $25 donation helps with maintenance.
</div>
<div>
 A $50 or $100 donation can help keep the lights on and the doors open.
</div>
<div>
 And if you cannot donate, sharing this fundraiser can make an enormous difference.
</div>
<div>
 We don't want to look back and wish we had done more.
</div>
<div>
 Let's come together and save Loves Park VFW Post 9759.
</div>
<div>
 Let's keep a place for our veterans to gather.
</div>
<div>
 Let's preserve the memories and history created here.
</div>
<div>
 Let's continue supporting the men and women who served our country.
</div>
<div>
 And let's make sure the doors stay open for the next generation of veterans.
</div>
<div>
 Our veterans served our country. Now it's our turn to serve them.
</div>
<div>
 Thank you for your support, your generosity, and for helping us keep Loves Park VFW Post 9759 alive.
</div>

<div>On Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, around 8 PM, a devastating fire broke out at Della's home, igniting an evening that would forever change her life. The flames erupted suddenly and rapidly spread throughout the entire house, The local fire department was quickly alerted, and firefighters from various neighboring communities, including teams from as far away as Byron, rushed to the scene to combat the fire.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Upon their arrival, the fire crews worked diligently and tirelessly, to extinguish the flames and prevent further spread. Despite their efforts, when it seemed they had the blaze under control, disaster struck once more: around midnight, the fire rekindled resulting in even more extensive damage to Della's home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Amidst the chaos and destruction, Della managed to exit her home safely, taking two of her beloved fur babies with her. Her heart, however, is heavy with grief, as she was unable to save two of her beloved pups, who tragically did not survive the fire. The loss of her fur babies weighs heavily on her mind. . In the aftermath, Della faced not only the physical devastation of her home but also the emotional toll of losing beloved pets who had brought her so much joy.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From Della " Trying to recover from sepsis, septic shock, learning to walk again, 3 major surgeries, 2 not so major, learning to talk again twice, radiation, fatigue, getting shots in my eye every month and the sadness of loosing so many family members and friends was more than enough stress. With everything thing coming at me constantly, I never had time to grieve for the loss of all my loved ones. just as I was beginning feel I can breathe, grieve and know peace again. The fire of my home struck. I am deeply saddened by the loss of my babies Odin and Asha. "

<div>Hi, my name is Paige, Our daughter Violett was diagnosed with ALL (Acute lymphoblastic leukemia) at the age of 8 months old. She has two older brothers Rhoman (5) and Jameson (4) The day she was diagnosed our world stopped, everything began happening in slow motion and the amount of emotion that came over us was something we have never experienced, nor wanted to ever experience. We spent every second with her in the hospital for the entire year in a half that seemed like it was a lifetime. We lost our housing due to both my fiance and I not working, we were living out of hotels in downtown Chicago so her father and brothers could be close by incase anything were to happen. Unfortunately, we never came back from that situation. We are now living in a motel with 3 little ones, we pay $450 a week to stay because with violett not having insurance I am now $50,000 in debt and most places look at credit score. Violett is still in active treatment and requires 3 different types of medication per week, one which she takes every day is her chemotherapy. She has also lost hearing in her right ear due to her Intensive chemotherapy and requires a hearing aid. She has appointments once a month, sometimes more to check her levels and see how she is responding to medications. Winter is coming quick and it will be rough, she is neutropenic and has zero immune system. We are guaranteed at least 1 inpatient stay from her becoming sick and her body not being able to fight anything off. All of this still feels like a nightmare we can't wake up from, we never know what could happen tomorrow as she is still fighting to beat cancer. We are asking for just a little support during this time of need, to help make things seem like there is a rainbow on the other side of the storm, at least for my babies.

Aid Violett's Battle and Family's Recovery

<span style="color:rgb(51,51,51);">Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,
<br /><br /> We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. Jake, our sweet and silly four-year-old, recently collapsed at preschool due to a mass in his brain. Just weeks before this terrifying incident, Jake had been seen by multiple doctors, who unfortunately misdiagnosed his symptoms, insisting that nothing was wrong. Now, Jake faces major surgeries to determine his prognosis and next steps in his treatment.
<br /><br />Jake is a bright, joyful boy who lights up every room. He’s always been the one to cheer others up, but now he needs our help more than ever.
<br /><br />Jake's parents, Sara Lynch and Patrick Maher, are devoted to being by his side every step of the way, but the road ahead is daunting. Without insurance and without paid sick leave from their jobs, they are facing an overwhelming financial burden. Medical bills are already piling up, and the added strain of covering everyday living expenses while Jake undergoes treatment is more than any family should have to bear alone.
<br /><br /> We are asking for your support to help cover Jake's medical expenses and provide Sara and Patrick with the means to be with their son during this critical time. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and help this family focus on what matters most—Jake’s recovery.
<br /><br />Please consider donating and sharing Jake’s story. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity will help us give Jake the best chance at a full and healthy life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with Jake and his family in this fight.
<br /><br /> With gratitude,</span>

<div>Hi,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking time to hear my story.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>my name is Brooke Allen and I have some really bad teeth years ago. I came across this show for life Time called smile. The basis of the show was to give people a beautiful makeover. It was geared towards individuals, who teeth was holding them back to being the best and succeed in your life. I applied for the show and made it on the cast (only black cast person) the dentist along with lifetime promised me IMPLANTS not dentures. They pulled out about 90% of my team left me with about eight bottom when years and a promise me implant told me I needed about a year to heal. I’ve been healing for the past eight years the dentist and lifetime network are blaming each other as to why the work still isn’t finish. This situation has ruined my life. Gave me really bad anxiety when it comes to eating it took me another year to teach myself how to eat. I don’t really go in public as much. My confidence is down and I don’t really mean go and try to make friends. I usually only go to church and home and work events but I don’t really make it to make friends. It has been a struggle for the past eight years. I had my wedding and I felt so ugly and I still can’t really eat food everything I have to eat a soft like for babies. I hope they got laser on your heart to help me finally get the smile that I see on everybody and the beautiful, healthy teeth. Thank you so much for donating or just taking they sent me home with huge dentures I couldn’t not eat with them on and they are really painful, I’m not sure why the show stopped my work the not sure what happens but I just want. Beautiful smile I want the tv show to see what they did to me and be held liable, no one from the cast was treated this way. Thank you for taking time to read my story. May God bless you

<div>It is with great sorrow that we have to share the unexpected passing of Fred Livingston Jr. On March 31st, a tragic event at the Apollo Theater in Belvidere, Illinois led to the loss of a great man. <div>Hi, My name is Seryna. The man in that video is my father. He has worked at his job for 27 years and yes, he has never missed a day of work. He originally began working at this job as a single father when he gained custody of me and my older sister 27 years ago. Then as our family grew and he remarried, he continued to work there because of the amazing health insurance that was provided through this employer because it was unionized. This got all four of his daughters through high school and college with full healthcare coverage. <br /><br />My dad continues to work there, because though he does look young, he is coming up on retirement age and leaving would cost him his retirement. In no way are we asking for money or is he expecting any money but if anyone feels like blessing him he would love to visit his grandchildren.

<div>We are raising money to be strong with Yorel. Yorel is a sweet, energetic and strong little man. He was recently diagnosed with B cell Lymphoma and will be undergoing treatment with his mommy and daddy at his side. Let's help the family with medical expenses, family expenses, gas needed to travel to his appointments, lost income from work and so on. Yorel has always been a strong and brave little man and now it is time for us to be strong for him and his family. Leroy McFadden was added as the Beneficiary to this account as he is Yorel's father. He will be utilizing the funds raised to help with medical expenses and travel to and from Yorel's treatments as he continues to fight against cancer. #beyorelstrong

<p>For those who don’t know me, I’m Roselyn, Ron’s cousin.
</p>

<p>
</p>

<p>Yesterday, Ron’s sweet two year old, Kendalyn Jayde, went to the emergency room. She hadn’t been feeling well and her mom was really concerned.
</p>

<p>
</p>

<p>Kendalyn had been battling what everyone assumed was a gnarly cold virus, but it turned out to have been something much graver. She was airlifted to UW-Madison and was tough and brave and strong, but ultimately, this darling girl couldn’t fight anymore.
</p>

<p>
</p>

<p>Kendalyn Jayde Kongsangobsakul passed away this morning, June 19th. Her parents, her brother, and anyone that’s ever known this little doll is completely devastated by this profound loss.
</p>

<p>
</p>

<p>In an effort to help alleviate some of the stress, I set up this page to assist with the medical costs and memorial as well. Even if you can’t donate, please keep this family in your thoughts. They are beyond heartbroken.
</p>

Rest In Peace, Sweet Kendalyn.

Help for David

Summerfield Zoo in Belvidere, IL needs community help to keep the zoo open and the animals cared for.   In this time of Covid 19, we are classified as a non-essential business.  <br />Five years ago we were hit by a tornado and going forward was really tough.  With community help we rebuilt and are still here.  We never thought we would be in a position just five years later to need so much help again.  Just as that time seemed impossible, this time of Covid 19 also seems impossible.  In order to continue to care for the animals and keep our doors open (when we can open again) we need help with funding.  We are currently maxed out in terms of our own ability to find more funds.<br />Businesses like ours do not qualify for the SBA and bank PPP loans or SBA disaster loans.  We have no other options at this time.  <br />The amount of $19,600 covers just one month of operating expenses for the zoo.  This covers pelleted feed, produce, zoo meat diets,  veterinary costs, fuel, utilities, wages, cleaning supplies, and insurance.  <br />With the support of our community, we survived and thrived through a tornado.  We hope to survive and thrive through this unprecedented time.  We want to be here for years to come to provide educational opportunities,  provide a great place for families to visit and make memories connecting with the animals,  and continue to be a safe haven for these amazing animals. <br />We know that this is such a hard time for everyone right now.  That makes us that much more appreciative of the help we have been getting from people and the help we might receive going forward.

Amelia Claire Brickson was taken suddenly from us. She was born at 1:57a.m. April 19th 2015 weighing 8lbs 7.3 ounces and measuring 22 inches long. We want her to be rememebered with all the joy she brought to everyone especially Lindsey Loos and Matt Brickson.We know that if she was able to be alive in this world she would have been loved by so many. She will forever leave a footprint on our hearts. Never could we forget such a beautiful soul. Please keep their families in your prayers and thoughts as they go through such difficult time. <br />We would like to raise money for the families as they have to plan such an unexpected funeral for their beautiful baby girl. Please share this to everyone. There will be updates posted on funeral services in the near future.
