<div>Faizan was born with Mosaic Edwards Syndrome, this is a rare genetic condition that has a very poor prognosis. Alhumdullilah Faizan defied all odds and we were blessed to have 20 years with him. He was witty and loved life. He became his own advocate and raised awareness for the rights of less abled people and people who stammered. He was active on Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok.

Faizan called it his 'Happy place' and loved being invited to enjoy time with staff and other disabled people. Faizan was always loved and well looked after by everyone there. Before Faizan passed away he briefly stayed in Francis house's supported living accommodation. He was able to fulfil his dream of living independently and that made him so happy.

These days are filled with nothing but fear and deprivation, and the sounds of bombing and destruction shatter our dreams. In our home in Gaza, I live with my family of fifteen members. Our lives have been transformed into details of oppression and suffering, which continue to weigh heavily on us.

<div>On the ninth of October 2023, the third day of the war, we were forced to evacuate our house and the entire surrounding area next to my university. We were unable to take any of our possessions, even our personal clothes.
</div>
<div>Then we went to our relatives thinking that we would return to our home after a short time, but the area in which our home was located was completely destroyed and wiped out.
</div>
<div>With the intensification of the violent bombing that affected most of the residential towers surrounding us, and the death of hundreds or even thousands of children and women, we were unable to stay in that house, so we headed to the nearby hospital, which was filled with thousands of displaced people. It was two very difficult nights.
</div>
<div>The army asked all residents of northern Gaza, which contains 1.5 million people, to leave and head to its south. On the way to the south, with thousands of cars, some were bombed in front of us and many people were killed, even though they said it was a safe area, but homes, tents, and cars containing civilians were bombed

<div>In the midst of this turmoil, the basic necessities of life have become luxuries. We struggle to find food, water, and shelter amidst the chaos.

Ramadan Appeal for the most needy

June 27th 2023 is the third anniversary of the passing of our beloved son Ayaan, who was just 13 years old when he unexpectedly suffered a serious brain haemorrhage from which he never fully recovered. In memory of our beloved angel, this year once again, we made the decision to walk Ben Nevis to raise money for Ayaan JM Trust, a nonprofit organisation that we, Ayaan's family, established because we wanted to do something special in honour of our precious son.<br /><br /> A small number of us will be returning to climb Ben Nevis on 25th June 2023 in order to raise money for the Ayaaan JM Trust. Last year, we attempted to climb Ben Nevis, but the severe, hazardous weather caused us to retreat halfway up. At the top, the wind and rain were gusting at about 85 mph, and the mountain was turning dangerously slippery. We are optimistic and determined to complete our goal this year and truly hope the weather is kind to us. With a height of 1,345m above sea level, Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in Scotland, the UK, and the British Isles. The distance of the trek we're planning to take is roughly 16km. Ben Nevis trek in loving memory of our Ayaan.

As-salamu alaykum.  Thank you for taking the time to visit our GoFundMe page. On Saturday 31st July a group of us will be trekking Mount Snowdon, the highest peak in Wales to raise money for Ayaan Jamia Masjid. The Pyg track that we will be tackling will consist of a 8 mile walk (725m ascent). Most of us doing this trek will have never done anything like this before. We have come together to raise money for Ayaan Jamia Masjid.  Ayaan Jamia Masjid is a mosque that is being built in Bangladesh in loving memory of our beautiful Ayaan Hussain, who unexpectedly passed away in June 2020 at the age of 13. In memory of Ayaan, as his parents  we wanted to do something that would not only remind us of his beautiful soul and kind nature but also benefit many for years to come Inshaa-Allah.  The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Whoever builds a mosque, desiring thereby Allah’s pleasure, Allah builds for him the like of it in paradise.” [Bukhari]  Ayaan Jamia Masjid project will In-Shaa-Allah provide approximately 200 spaces for prayer, located in Bangladesh, Moulvibazar. It will act as a community hub for local residence as well as provide water pump. By providing even a small donation, you can be part of an amazing project to provide locals and travellers a place to pray and have access to fresh clean water. There are so many reasons for this- poverty, poor mental health, isolation, domestic abuse and lack of family support networks. And this is where Home-Start steps in. Four Home-Start charities, work in communities right across Greater Manchester to offer volunteer-led emotional and practical support to families who are struggling. <br /><br />Support is offered to families in their own homes, Home-Start volunteers (who have parenting experience themselves), walk alongside families, helping them to address their concerns in a confidential and non-judgmental way. <br /><br />One mum supported by Home-Start said: "My Home-Start volunteer saved my life.
