What Debra cares about

I'm mindful not of so much of my situation because of the Government Shutdown. We all need one another I'm just reaching out for assistance, BAD Situation.

I am a single great-grandmother facing some tough times. My health has declined, and I now require around-the-clock nursing care. I can’t get around like I used to, so I have to order my groceries and medications online, and even have my medicine delivered. I have two children—a 24-year-old son and a 42-year-old daughter—and together we have a big family with seven grandchildren and one great-grandson. We’ve always supported one another, but things became much harder for us when our food stamps were cut off in November 2025. That change put our family in a real crisis, and we’ve been doing our best to get by ever since. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward my rent, utilities, and transportation, as well as essential health needs like aspirin, women’s Silver Centrum vitamins, and cream to help with neuropathy pain. Every bit of support will help me maintain a safe and stable home, and allow me to keep caring for my family—including my 26-year-old autistic nephew, who lives with me and depends on my care. I know that many others are going through hardships in their lives, just like I am. Even when I’m out and about, I try to give to others, knowing my own situation. I trust God and am grateful for my life and my family. I’m not the type to ask for help or be a burden, but at this stage in my life, I’m reaching out for support. Things could always be worse, and I’m thankful for what I have. I truly appreciate any help you’re able to give, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my story. Thank you for your kindness and support.

We are Family and Friends during this time of year Holidays around the corner and Help me Help somebody somebody that I'm helping is my special nephew.
