I am a mother, wife, daughter, and educator who has recently been diagnosed with AML; Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Prior to my illness, I spent over 30 years working with special education students and their families. Constantly involved in community fundraising, I served as a board member of several educational organizations and volunteered countless hours for local events and charities.
