Jonathon Andrew Bryner

My name is Jonathon Andrew, and my life has been shaped by two major car accidents. In 2022, I was rear-ended by a car going about 70 miles an hour. The impact left me with serious injuries, requiring a major surgery and an upcoming cervical surgery. But this wasn’t my first brush with tragedy. Back in 2007, I was a passenger in a horrific accident where our car hit a tree at 115 miles an hour, right on the passenger side. The crash was so severe that it nearly cut the car in half, and I was split in half by the impact. I lost a significant portion of my organs, including six feet of intestines and my spleen. Since then, I have undergone 78 surgeries, and during my 28th surgery, I had a vision of God, though I did not see His face. I spent a month in a self-induced coma, flatlined 13 times, and have been fighting sicknesses ever since while raising my children. Because of my ongoing health challenges, I am unable to hold a job for long periods of time. Despite these challenges, I am determined to turn my experiences into something positive. My goal is to recover from my surgeries and get back out there to speak to children and young adults about the consequences of risky decisions. I want to share my story to help others avoid the pain I’ve endured and to inspire them to make safe choices.
