<div>Hi :) if you don't know me, my name is Cayla. I'm 21 years old from Canyon Lake, CA. In the past year, I've been immersed in a battle surrounding my health, which I have kept pretty private until now. In March 2025, I was diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkin's Lymphoma (a type of blood cancer). Since then, I've been on a road to healing my body with a combination of natural healing methods, relying on the healing foods God has provided, supplements, high dose vitamin-C IV infusions, ozone therapy, and more.

<div>Recently, I've been presented with the opportunity to become a patient at the Cancer Center for Healing in Irvine, which can offer me more helpful and healing treatments that I cannot get on my own. It also will allow me to better track my progress and create a treatment plan specific to my body by a trusted healthcare professional instead of by my own means.

<div>I have confidence that this center will be a big turning point in my healing journey. Because it is not conventional medicine, these tests and treatments are not covered by insurance, and are therefore very costly.

<div>I am asking the community of Christ around me for support financially, and will be grateful in any way you feel led to give as the Holy Spirit leads you. More importantly, I am also asking for prayer over this season of healing. Specifically, prayer for the complete healing of my cancer, peace of mind in the waiting periods, and strength to trust the Lord in this hard season.

<div><strong>A Life-Changing Diagnosis</strong>

<div>On December 23, 2024, Nikki and her family’s lives were forever changed. What initially seemed like a simple sinus infection quickly escalated as her symptoms worsened, leading her to seek emergency care. An MRI revealed a mass in her right frontal lobe, and she was immediately transferred to USC for urgent evaluation by the Oncology and Neurosurgery teams.

<div>While admitted, Nikki underwent extensive testing, daily bloodwork, full-body scans, and multiple evaluations by neurologists. Days later, doctors determined she needed a craniotomy with tumor resection. Thankfully, her surgery went well, with no complications or lasting deficits.

<div>As she recovered at home in the following weeks, additional testing confirmed devastating news—the tumor was malignant. At just 33 years old, Nikki, a devoted wife to Raul and a nurturing mother to three young daughters: Olivia, four years old; Sophia, two years old; and Malia just six months old was facing the fight of her life.

<div><strong>A Warrior with Grace and Faith</strong>

<div>Despite this unimaginable challenge, Nikki has faced every step of this journey with unwavering faith, grace, and strength. She has always been someone who gives selflessly—whether supporting her family, encouraging friends, or helping others in times of need. Now, it is our turn to lift her up.

<div>Determined to do everything possible, she chose to treat her brain cancer aggressively with six weeks of radiation alongside chemotherapy. She is currently undergoing this rigorous treatment and fighting with incredible resilience for herself and her family. Following this phase, she is set to continue chemotherapy at an increased dose for another 12 months.

<div><strong>A Path to Healing</strong>

<div>Throughout this journey, Nikki and Raul have dedicated themselves to exploring all possible treatment paths. They have sought guidance from integrative, complementary, and holistic oncologists, believing they have found a path to true healing. Unfortunately, these treatments are not covered by insurance, which creates financial challenges making outside support essential to help defray the costs.

<div>Your support will allow Nikki to pursue the treatment plan she believes in. It will also provide financial relief so that Raul, a dedicated local firefighter, can remain at home by her side as her primary caregiver and advocate. <div>My family has been devastated by the recent Eaton Fire in Altadena. On January 7, 2025, my father, Regan Franklin evacuated his home around 10 PM after receiving a warning, grabbing what he could and hoping he could return the next day. Tragically, by morning, we learned the family home that he, Brandie and their 10-year-old daughter, Kenzie as well as my brother Pierce and their two dogs were living in had been completely destroyed by the fire, leaving nothing behind.

<div>The loss has been overwhelming. Kenzie lost all her beloved books, toys and clothes. Regan and Brandie lost their computers, essential for their work, along with all their clothing, shoes, and personal belongings. Every single possession, including irreplaceable mementos and the comforts of home, is gone.

<div>The Eaton Fire has wreaked havoc across their community, consuming over 10,600 acres and resulting in the loss of at least five lives. More than 1,000 structures, including homes and local businesses, have been destroyed, and over 100,000 residents have been forced to evacuate.

<p>Many of you know by now that Matt and Katie's 3-year-old son, Griffin, has been diagnosed with brain cancer. They took Griffin to the emergency room June 1st because he had a couple random falls, followed by vomiting and his balance was off. A CT scan found a lime-sized malignant brain tumor near his brain stem called a Medulloblastoma. The doctors said it is likely that Griffin has had this since birth, and it is now causing hydrocephaly (pressure on his brain). The type of Medulloblastoma has not yet been determined so they do not know the extent of the treatment he will require after surgery, but we do know Griffin will need chemotherapy, and possibly radiation and other therapies depending on what they find during the surgery. Griffin’s surgery is scheduled for tomorrow, June 3rd, at Phoenix Children’s Hospital.

He can bring a peace that surpasses all understanding and we are thankful He draws near to us in these difficult times. Please be praying for wisdom and guidance for the doctors and surgeons, Griffin’s post-op recovery, for Matt &amp; Katie to be able to get rest and make the best decisions moving forward, and for their other three children (ages 1, 4 and 6) to be able to adjust to the changes ahead.

My family and I have lived in Corona for 31 years, and have been blessed to have known Tanner and his family for over 20 of those years. <br /><br /></span><font color="#333333">After a long battle in the hospital with kidney failure and sepsis, that began on December 18, 2020, along with being a quadriplegic since the age of 15, due to a motor cross accident, Tanner Kent has sadly passed away. <br /><br />Long-time residents of Norco, California, his mother; Deneen Haught, his father; Mike Kent; grandparents; Kelso and Denise Haught, and older sister; Shawnda Frederiksen</font><font face="Helvetica"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></font><font color="#333333">had cared and loved Tanner for over 12 years.
