What they care about

I'm a first responder who sees the every day struggles in our local community. I'm just here to try to make the world a better place.

On July 29, 2026 flooding far worse than I have ever seen hit Coxsackie caused catastrophic damage to Rachael and her mom, Pam’s home. Home owners insurance has already denied their claim and damages have been assessed at $81,000. Every 2-3 years they have to spend $30,000 to maintain a municipal owned culvert so it doesn’t flood their property but this year despite that maintenance, the culvert failed, sending rushing water, mud, and debris into their basement & shed. The water was so forceful it tore down interior walls and blasted through the exterior masonry walls.
