My family and I are facing one of the hardest times of our lives. Earlier this year, I lost my job and have been searching for work ever since, but so far, I haven’t been able to find anything. I am trying everything I can to get an income for my family, but things have been really hard. Right now, it’s me, my husband, our 18-year-old son, our dog, and our cat all living together in our van. As a result, we’ve become homeless and are struggling to keep up with even the most basic expenses. One of our biggest fears right now is losing our storage unit, which holds the last precious belongings we have left. Inside that storage unit are irreplaceable memories: my late son’s belongings, my husband’s father’s ashes, and the few possessions we still own. The thought of losing these items is heartbreaking. They are more than just things—they are the last connections we have to our loved ones and our past. We’ve tried everything we can to keep up with the payments, but without steady income, it’s become impossible to manage on our own. We are reaching out to our community and anyone who might be able to help. Please, if you can, support us in saving our storage unit and keeping these memories safe. Any help, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Thank you for reading our story and for any support you can give.
