Hello, my name is Annica, and I’m starting a Manchester Support Group to bring people together through connection, creativity, and confidence. 
 
This December, I’m taking on a personal challenge — to walk 1 million steps in 31 days, that’s over 32,000 steps every single day! 
 
I’m walking to raise funds and awareness for an inclusive community event that supports disadvantaged and isolated over-40s across Manchester. Together, we’ll help people rebuild confidence, spark joy, and create real connection. 
 
You can help by sponsoring me £1 for every 100,000 steps I complete — that’s just £10 for the full million steps! Or, you can donate any amount you like — every step and every pound makes a difference. 
 
Every pound raised will go towards warm, welcoming community events that help people reconnect, build confidence, and find joy again — from creative workshops to shared community meals and gatherings that make everyone feel part of something special.
