I am raising funds for my dog, Mina. Mina was living in an overcrowded shelter in South Carolina, where the volunteers loved her deeply because she is such a sweet girl. When I first saw her, I immediately fell in love with her unique coloring and gentle spirit. A few days later, Mina was moved to the urgent list because of how long she had been at the shelter. Then I saw another photo of her, this time with a date attached: Friday. She would not have made it past Friday unless someone got her out. I quickly worked with the volunteers and made a plan to bring her home.
Since coming home, Mina has been given the chance to be safe, loved, and cared for. Unfortunately, like many dogs in the southern United States, she contracted heartworms from mosquitoes. I have already started her treatment, and she still needs 3 more vet visits to complete the process. I am asking for help covering these remaining treatments so Mina can fully recover and enjoy the healthy future she deserves. Please help my young brindle gremlin have many more happy, healthy years. Any support means so much to both of us, and sharing her story also helps.
