Hey, ich bin Jasmin :)

Ich komme aus Südtirol und Fahrradfahren ist meine große Leidenschaft. Wenn ich auf meinem Rad sitze, spüre ich eine überwältigende Freiheit. Doch diese Erfahrung hat mich nachdenklich gemacht: Wie oft nehmen wir es als selbstverständlich hin, gesund zu sein? Ich habe erkannt, dass es ein unschätzbares Geschenk ist, einen gesunden Körper zu haben – ein Privileg, das nicht allen Menschen gegeben ist.

Diese Erkenntnis inspirierte mich, jene zu unterstützen, die nicht die gleiche Freiheit erleben können wie ich – besonders Kinder, Jugendliche und ihre Familien, die gegen schwere Krankheiten kämpfen. Der MOMO Verein und das Kinderpalliativteam des Südtiroler Sanitätsbetriebs leisten eine unglaubliche Arbeit, indem sie den betroffenen Kindern und ihren Familien Hoffnung, Lebensqualität und wertvolle Unterstützung bieten.

Die #rideforMOMO Challange ist mein Weg, um auf ihre unermüdliche Arbeit aufmerksam zu machen und den Kindern und Familien zu helfen, die es am meisten brauchen. Denn jedes Kind verdient es, Hoffnung und Geborgenheit zu erfahren – besonders dann, wenn es am meisten zählt.

Die Route: 1.700 Kilometer Hoffnung

Am 30. August geht’s los in Bozen – 1.700 Kilometer, 7 Länder und rund 120 km pro Tag bis nach London in nur 14 Tagen.

Das große Ziel: Am 12. September treffe ich in London ein, mit dem Ziel, das Shooting Star Children’s Hospice zu besuchen, das weltweit erste moderne Hospiz für Kinder und Jugendliche.

MOMO - Förderverein Kinder-Palliativ in Südtirol

Der Förderverein MOMO setzt sich für Familien ein, die mit der Belastung leben, dass ihr Kind an einer unheilbaren, lebensbedrohlichen oder lebensverkürzenden Erkrankung leidet. In Südtirol gibt es derzeit rund 200 betroffene Kinder und Jugendliche. MOMO möchte diesen Familien als verlässliche Stütze zur Seite stehen und ihnen einen Raum bieten, in dem sie Unterstützung und ein Stück Normalität erfahren.

MOMO ist nach der kleinen, weisen Heldin aus dem gleichnamigen Roman von Michael Ende benannt. So wie Momo mit ihrer liebevollen und offenen Art den Menschen beistand, möchte auch der Förderverein für die betroffenen Familien da sein. Der Verein setzt auf Mitgefühl, Aufmerksamkeit und ein starkes Netzwerk, um Kindern und ihren Angehörigen zu helfen. Ziel ist es, diese Familien zu begleiten, ihre Interessen zu vertreten und für ihre Bedürfnisse einzutreten.

Hilfe, die direkt ankommt

Mit Deiner Spende möchten wir das Kinderpalliativzentrum Südtirol unterstützen und schwerkranken Kindern und Jugendlichen wertvolle Therapien, Pflege und Momente der Lebensqualität ermöglichen. Alle Spenden fließen zu 100% direkt an den MOMO Förderverein und werden für folgende Zwecke verwendet:

Therapien und medizinische Versorgung

Die Finanzierung spezieller Therapien wie Schmerz-, Physiotherapie, Ergotherapie und Psychotherapie sowie die Unterstützung von Hospiz- und Palliativbehandlungen, um den Kindern und ihren Familien die bestmögliche Betreuung zu ermöglichen.

Unterstützung von Familien mit Pflegekosten

Hilfe bei der Deckung von Zusatzkosten durch die Pflege, wie etwa Fahrtkosten, spezielle Pflegehilfsmittel oder häusliche Pflege.

Bereitstellung von spezialisierten Hilfsmitteln

Finanzierung medizinischer Geräte und Hilfsmittel wie Rollstühle, Sauerstoffgeräte oder Anpassungen im Zuhause, die den Kindern ein würdevolles Leben ermöglichen.

Psychosoziale Unterstützung

Finanzierung von Beratungsangeboten und psychologischer Betreuung für Eltern und Geschwisterkinder, um mit den emotionalen Belastungen einer schweren Krankheit umzugehen.

Unterstützung von Familienausflügen

Organisation von Auszeiten oder Freizeitaktivitäten, die den betroffenen Kindern und ihren Familien unvergessliche Momente der Normalität und des Glücks ermöglichen.

Herzenswünsche erfüllen

Den Kindern die Möglichkeit geben, für eine kurze Zeit den Strapazen ihres Alltags zu entfliehen, in eine andere Welt einzutauchen und daraus neue Kraft, Hoffnung und Lebensfreude zu schöpfen.

Vengo dall'Alto Adige e andare in bicicletta è la mia grande passione. Quando sono in sella alla mia bici, provo un'incredibile sensazione di libertà. Ma questa esperienza mi ha fatto riflettere: quanto spesso diamo per scontato di essere in salute? Ho capito che avere un corpo sano è un dono inestimabile, un privilegio che non tutti hanno.

Questa consapevolezza mi ha ispirato a sostenere coloro che non possono vivere la stessa libertà che provo io – in particolare bambini, ragazzi e le loro famiglie che affrontano malattie gravi. L’Associazione MOMO e il team di cure palliative pediatriche dell'Azienda Sanitaria dell'Alto Adige svolgono un lavoro straordinario, offrendo speranza, qualità della vita e un supporto prezioso ai bambini colpiti e alle loro famiglie.

La #rideforMOMO Challenge è il mio modo per sensibilizzare sulla loro instancabile opera e per aiutare i bambini e le famiglie che ne hanno più bisogno. Perché ogni bambino merita di sperimentare speranza e calore, soprattutto nei momenti in cui conta di più.

MOMO – Associazione per le Cure Palliative Pediatriche in Alto Adige

L'Associazione MOMO si dedica alle famiglie che vivono il peso di avere un bambino affetto da una malattia incurabile, pericolosa per la vita o che ne accorcia la durata. In Alto Adige, ci sono attualmente circa 200 bambini e ragazzi in questa situazione. MOMO vuole essere un sostegno affidabile per queste famiglie, offrendo loro un ambiente in cui possano trovare supporto e un senso di normalità.

Il nome MOMO è ispirato alla piccola e saggia protagonista dell’omonimo romanzo di Michael Ende. Proprio come Momo, che con il suo cuore grande e il suo ascolto attento aiutava le persone, anche l’Associazione vuole essere un punto di riferimento per le famiglie colpite. MOMO si basa su empatia, attenzione e una rete di supporto forte per aiutare bambini e famiglie. L’obiettivo è accompagnarli, rappresentare i loro interessi e sostenere le loro necessità.

Un aiuto che arriva direttamente

Con la tua donazione, vogliamo sostenere il Centro di Cure Palliative Pediatriche dell’Alto Adige, offrendo ai bambini gravemente malati terapie preziose, assistenza e momenti di qualità della vita. Il 100% delle donazioni andrà direttamente all'Associazione MOMO e verrà impiegato per:

Terapie e assistenza medica

Finanziamento di terapie specializzate come terapia del dolore, fisioterapia, ergoterapia e psicoterapia, oltre al supporto per cure palliative e hospice, per garantire la miglior assistenza possibile ai bambini e alle loro famiglie.

Supporto alle famiglie per i costi di assistenza

Aiuto nella copertura dei costi aggiuntivi legati alle cure, come spese di viaggio, strumenti di assistenza speciali o cure domiciliari.

Fornitura di ausili specializzati

Finanziamento di attrezzature mediche e dispositivi di supporto, come sedie a rotelle, apparecchi per l’ossigeno o adeguamenti nelle abitazioni per garantire una vita dignitosa ai bambini.

Sostegno psicosociale

Finanziamento di consulenze e supporto psicologico per genitori e fratelli, per aiutarli ad affrontare le difficoltà emotive legate alla malattia.

Organizzazione di gite e momenti di svago

Creazione di esperienze che permettano ai bambini e alle loro famiglie di vivere momenti indimenticabili di normalità e felicità.

Realizzazione di desideri speciali

Regalare ai bambini la possibilità di evadere, anche solo per un momento, dalle difficoltà quotidiane, immergendosi in un’esperienza che possa donare loro nuova forza, speranza e gioia di vivere.

Hey, I'm Jasmin :)

I come from South Tyrol and cycling is my great passion. When I'm on my bike, I feel an overwhelming sense of freedom. But this experience made me think: how often do we take being healthy for granted? I realized that having a healthy body is an invaluable gift - a privilege that is not given to everyone.

This realization inspired me to support those who cannot experience the same freedom I do - especially children, adolescents and their families who are battling serious illnesses. The MOMO Association and the children's palliative care team of the South Tyrolean Medical Service do an incredible job in offering hope, quality of life and valuable support to affected children and their families.

The #rideforMOMO Challange is my way of raising awareness of their tireless work and helping the children and families who need it most. Because every child deserves to experience hope and security - especially when they matter most.

The route: 1,700 kilometers of hope

MOMO - Children's Palliative Care Association in South Tyrol

The MOMO support association is committed to helping families who are living with the burden of their child suffering from an incurable, life-threatening or life-shortening illness. There are currently around 200 affected children and young people in South Tyrol. MOMO wants to be a reliable support for these families and offer them a space in which they can experience support and a bit of normality.

MOMO is named after the wise little heroine from Michael Ende's novel of the same name. Just as Momo helped people with her loving and open nature, the support association also wants to be there for the families affected. The association relies on compassion, attention and a strong network to help children and their relatives. The aim is to support these families, represent their interests and stand up for their needs.

Help that arrives directly

With your donation, we would like to support the Children's Palliative Care Center South Tyrol and provide seriously ill children and young people with valuable therapies, care and moments of quality of life. All donations go 100% directly to the MOMO support association and are used for the following purposes:

Therapies and medical care

Funding for special therapies such as pain therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and psychotherapy, as well as support for hospice and palliative treatment to provide children and their families with the best possible care.

Support for families with care costs

Helping to cover additional costs associated with care, such as travel costs, special care aids or home care.

Provision of specialized aids

Funding for medical equipment and aids such as wheelchairs, oxygen equipment or home adaptations that enable children to live with dignity.

Psychosocial support

Funding of counseling services and psychological support for parents and siblings to help them cope with the emotional stress of a serious illness.

Support for family outings

Organization of time-outs or leisure activities that provide the affected children and their families with unforgettable moments of normality and happiness.

Fulfilling heartfelt wishes

Giving children the opportunity to escape the stresses and strains of everyday life for a short time, immerse themselves in another world and draw new strength, hope and joie de vivre from it.
