Three weeks to move!!! Welp, after a being sick with mold induced pneumonia and a power bill of over $600, we’ve realized that we can no longer remain in this home. We found a new place; it’s considerably smaller, but we’ll make it work. I found a two-bedroom, and we hope it’ll be short-term. The kids aren’t happy, but it is what it is. We’ve got about three weeks to get out of here before the Housing Authority condemns the house or the landlord puts it up for sale, whichever happens first! I’m trying to cover the cost of moving only. This is so much more difficult than I imagined. Our plan was to stay where we were until we could move into a bigger space, but instead, we’re doing the opposite and having to remain apart. This dollar amount should cover the cost of rentals, deposits, a dump run, etc., as well as paying off the utilities from this home so that we can move into the next without indebtedness. Every single dollar is appreciated, and we love you so much.
