<div>A few short years ago, <strong>my uncle, who is a police officer in a Chicago suburb, was working a local festival in the summer when he suffered a massive stroke.</strong> It has been years now, and he has made progress but has had several setbacks in the last year, partly due to workers' comp dragging their heels and moving him from rehabilitation facility to rehabilitation facility.

<div>His wife (my aunt) visits him every day, even while working a full-time and a part-time job to pay bills, and still manages to babysit her young grandson at times. Both he and she are growing more and more frustrated with the progress of workers' comp as their home needs to be made wheelchair accessible for him (enlarging doorways, shower, wheelchair ramps, etc.). This is having an adverse effect on my uncle as he feels he will never get to go home again.

My name is Ryan Fink. This is by far the worst thing I have ever had to do in my life. My daughter Marlee was a beautiful, fun, loving, outgoing, caring individual. Before her life was cut short she was looking forward to becoming a model. Her first show was supposed to be on the 22nd of February. Marlee was 11 years old. She was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed and we as parents and family will never be completely right with this. We are asking for donations to help as much as possible with funeral arrangements and greatly appreciate any donations that are given no matter how big or small and prayers and support. I will be receiving the monies and  monies received will be allocated towards funeral expenses as well as cemetery expense.

Eddie Marmolejo was a great Police Officer, friend, father, and husband.  He worked at Christ Hospital ER selflessy taking care and helping save the lives of others he didnt even know. 2.5 years ago he joined CPD risking his life to help protect others he didnt even know. <br /><br />On the evening of December 17th, 2018 he gave his life protecting the city of chicago from an individual with a gun.<br /><br />Eddie leaves behind a wife and 3 young girls whose lives will forever be changed, especially during these holidays.  Please help take care of the Marmolejo family and show them how Eddie bettered the lives of any individual he came in contact with.  His smile,  jokes, and love for his friends and his girls at home will forever be missed.

Officer Conrad Gary ended his watch on December 17th 2018. He devoted this life to protecting others. He is a veteran, a husband, a daddy, a brother, a son. He is loved by so many and will truly be missed. His wife Kelly and daughter Tess will forever be changed by this event. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone! :)<br />My name is Katie and I am a Pre-Med student at Bradley University. This coming January I will be traveling to Central America with an organization called Global Medical Training with a group of other Pre-Med and Medical students from Bradley University. In the past GMT has gone on trips to places like Nicaragua and Dominican Republic to help out communities who are in need of medical attention. While on this trip I will be given the chance to help out those who do not have the resources or money to get the medicine they need, and to learn a lot of useful skills to continue on in my education to Medical school in the future.  A majority of the money that I will be raising for this trip will go towards medicine and supplies needed to help the community that we will be traveling to. The remainder of the money will be going towards the safety and transportation of the students going on the trip. I am not asking for large amounts of money, but just whatever you can do to help support me in this experience to help out those who cannot help themselves. I really appreciate anyone and everyone who can help me achieve my goal in paying it forward to those who need it the most.
