<div>It’s a gathering bringing leaders of Non-Violence &amp; Peaceful Progress from around the globe, and a culmination of a 12 year pilgrimage &amp; peace-building process that has brought many spiritual leaders and visionaries together in different countries from around the world.

<div>Those invited are typically active in the world helping the lift and shift we are all walking towards. We are honored to be invited as musicians for this global gathering, pilgrimage, &amp; peace-building process. The experience will focus on hosting ceremonies, workshops, &amp; healing events throughout Japan in Tokyo, Mt Fuji, &amp; Hiroshima.

He is now a guitarist for <a href="https://www.aspenmusicfestival.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Aspen Music Festival</a>’s Lead Guitar Program, Guitar Ensembles, &amp; Mariachi Workshop.

Singing Our Way to Unity!

<div>Four years ago I announced to friends and family that I was ready to make an album. It felt like an ask from the ground up, as nature seems to be reclaiming me with its reaching arms and many voices and the demand for art feels strong and real.

<div> The funds raised covered my airfare to get to Adelaide, Australia, where my dear friend and soul brother, Mike Kirkham, received me in his fabulous home studio and among his beautiful family in the Adelaide hills. For three months we workshopped ten tracks of my original songs with a band of his friends that I call Shayla and the Dads.

<div>Mike and I did this with the insistence that recording music is a vibration that ripples out. We wanted our offering to be one of joy and friendship. A walking prayer in celebration of the beauty of this planet. We took regular Uno breaks and had cartwheel practice often on the lawn of Mike and Sarah's gorgeous cherry orchid.

On The Ground

<div>Jeff and Donna Saufley, beloved family and dear friends to so many whose lives they have touched, need your help.
</div>

<div>On February 24th Donna was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. This condition came as a complete surprise, as Donna was healthy and active right up to that point. Within 5 days of the initial diagnosis, Donna had to undergo intrusive brain surgery to remove the tumor. Although most of the cancer was removed some could not be, typical of the difficulty with this type of malignant brain tumor. As a result of the surgery, Donna suffered a post-operative stroke. As a result of the stroke her speech and some cognitive capacities have been affected as well as her ability to move her right side. The stroke has left her unable to walk, dress, shower, or care for herself so she is now dependent on round-the-clock care from caregivers (primarily Jeff). Donna and Jeff are now engaged in the long and hard process of cancer treatment, which will involve many months of both radiation and chemotherapy. Donna is still in phenomenally high spirits with her characteristic optimistic attitude as they get ready for the long-term battle with this cancer.

<div>Saving Donna’s life will require more than just love and care, it will be extremely expensive. Jeff has had to leave work indefinitely to care for Donna. The cost of care associated with what will be a long and difficult battle with cancer will be extraordinary. Out-of-pocket medical expenses alone could easily amount to tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars. In addition, there are many other costs that will not be covered by any medical insurance, such as the installation of wheelchair access ramps to their home, modifying their bathroom for disabled access, and the fact Jeff has had to leave work in order to care for Donna full time.

<div>First, we ask for your prayers and best wishes on behalf of the Saufleys with the hope that Donna’s recovery goes well. Second, we have started this Go Fund Me to help relieve just some of the financial burden from the Saufleys so they can focus on Donna’s care and recovery.

<p dir="ltr">How do you cope with knowing you are dying from cancer? With laughter, tears, and lots of love. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Lu's cancer story began about ten years ago when she was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer, C meaning chronic. In true Lu fashion, she said that's ok, I will just beat it and it won't come back. She fought like hell and showed cancer who's boss. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Lu was in remission for nine years and she was extremely grateful for every minute of it. Fast forward to January 2016, CT and MRI scans confirmed her cancer was back. February 2016 she had surgery for over seven hours removing several complicated tumors above and below her stomach and in her intestines and also had two bowel resections. She started chemo again and was told she again beat the cancer, however, a CT scan showed there was a several inch long stent broken off and left in her ureter which was believed to be the cause of an infection she had for months. November 2016 she had surgery to repair some of the damage from the stent and related complications. Surgery went well and she was finally able to begin recovery. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">January 2017 she had scans and blood work for her three month cancer checkup. Her three month checkup in October was all clear, but on February 4th the devastating news hit again when she was told the cancer was back. This time they said surgery is not an option because her cancer is around the ureter and iliac artery. She was told the cancer is incurable and that she will be on chemo for the rest of her life. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">"Everyone wants to make sure I know I'm dying." Lu said. You know what they say; you may have cancer but it doesn't have you. Lu is a prime example of this as every day she tries to enjoy life and not let the cancer take over her day, no matter how challenging that is. 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">To enjoy life, Lu likes to spend time with her husband Mark, take road <u>trips</u> to see friends and family, fish, garden, frisbee golf, and she loves to talk. A lot. :) 
</p>

<p dir="ltr">Lu is no longer able to work. This gofundme is to help with medical bills, treatments, home bills, and whatever she can do to try to enjoy the rest of her life. 
</p>

It is a state of emergency. During this the most generous, kind, hard working, beautiful people I know lost their homestead. We called it Burr's Place. They shared their home with family, friends, and many lucky animals...including dogs (one named Burr), horses, chickens, and cats. All of whom are safe but seperated since their home is lost. Page and Brett always lift everyone up in life, lets do the same for them.  Anything helps in this time of transition to rebuild what they have worked so hard to build and always shared with others.
