Update on Ethel ❤️ My mom took her to her vet appointment this morning. Everyone absolutely adored Ethel and was giving her all the love. She was so well behaved. It truly amazes me how someone could dump such sweet, innocent dogs. The vet examined her and the spot on her mammary gland is definitely a tumor. They took X-rays to make sure it hasn’t spread to her chest, and thankfully it has not. But we do need to get this removed as soon as possible. They will also spay her during the tumor removal so she doesn’t have to be put under anesthesia multiple times. I’m creating a GoFundMe for her surgery so we can get this taken care of. The tumor removal and spay will be between $900–$1,000. I know that’s a lot to ask for, but she truly deserves to be helped. Even donating $5, sharing this post, or calling a donation directly into the vet would help more than you know. I am already over $8,000 in debt on my CareCredit from helping my own animals and strays, but I could not leave her there to suffer. We are going to see them every day to build trust so we can get them to safety. If you know where they are, please do not feed them right now.
