<div>En ese momento, pasé por varios ciclos de tratamiento hasta entrar en remisión completa de la enfermedad. Cada año realizaba mis chequeos de rutina, hasta que en el 2021 los médicos observaron la presencia de células malignas presentes en mi organismo.

<div>Hoy, 14 años después, reapareció el cáncer. Mi diagnóstico actual es igual al anterior, específicamente Linfoma No Hodgkin Difuso de Células Grandes B de Origen Centro Germinal (hans), el cual se caracteriza por su rápida expansión.

<div>En la actualidad, recibo tratamientos de quimioterapia con el objetivo de ser candidato para un trasplante de médula a futuro y así evitar que la enfermedad reaparezca. Estos procedimientos tienen costos muy elevados, por lo que decidí iniciar esta campaña para ayudar con los gastos médicos y recuperar mi salud.

<br />On December 4th, my brother Carlos Vila was unjustly detained by ICE, depriving him of his freedom despite having a pending asylum case and all his documents in order and up to date. Carlos became collateral damage during his arrest, as the authorities were looking for someone else, not him, at the residence where he was living. Today, we face the difficult situation of raising the necessary funds to pay his immigration bond so that he can continue his legal process while free. Any financial support, no matter how small, represents a great source of hope for our family during this very difficult time.<br /><br />————————————————————————<br />El pasado 4 de diciembre, mi hermano Carlos Vila fue detenido injustamente por ICE, privándolo de su libertad a pesar de contar con un caso de asilo pendiente y tener todos sus documentos en regla y al día. Carlos se convirtió en un daño colateral durante su aprehensión, ya que las autoridades buscaban a otra persona y no a él en la residencia donde vivía. Hoy enfrentamos la difícil situación de reunir los recursos necesarios para pagar su fianza migratoria y lograr que pueda continuar su proceso en libertad. Cualquier apoyo económico, por pequeño que sea, representa una gran esperanza para nuestra familia en este momento tan difícil.
