My name is Youssef Shaqoura and I am 31 years old. Since I was young, I dreamed of a stable career and a bright future. I studied journalism, hoping to find a guaranteed job. But the job market in Gaza was harsh, and opportunities were scarce. I didn't give up, so I turned to photography and video editing; it became my creative outlet and my source of income. While honing my skills, I ventured into the world of multimedia, studying and broadening my horizons. It was a turning point in my life. I found joy in creating and telling stories through images and graphics, and I soon began earning money from various sources, both online and offline. My ultimate dream was to establish a photography studio and a digital content company، A space where I could document moments and craft stories that touch people's hearts. In September 2023, that dream became a reality. I received approval from a local organization to fund a small photography and graphic design project, and it felt like a glimmer of hope in a life full of challenges. But then war broke out. In moments, all my dreams were shattered. My home, my safe haven and cherished memories, was reduced to rubble. The infrastructure collapsed; electricity and internet were cut off, and with them, my ability to work. My dreams of building a business and providing a better future for my family vanished. The destruction wasn't just physical; it tore at my very soul. Today, I find myself struggling against the harsh realities of survival. The daily fight to secure basic necessities—clean water, electricity, and a semblance of normalcy—has become a veritable battle، The destruction of infrastructure makes even obtaining these necessities a daunting task. The constant fear of bombing, the uncertainty about life, and the feeling of helplessness as my dreams crumbled around me left me in despair. Amidst this devastation, I refuse to lose hope. I appeal to your compassionate hearts for support. I need $100,000 to rebuild my life: $70,000 to rebuild my home، Engineers confirmed that the structural damage was irreparable, and I need $30,000 to restart my business, which includes a digital advertising company and an events photography studio.
