Geoff, my brother, is 64 years old and has battled both esophageal and stomach cancer for over two years. He has not been able to eat food and relies entirely on a feeding tube nutrition since 9/23.Judy, his wife of 45 years & two adult sons have been by his side, providing care & support while he also receives palliative care. The emotional and financial toll on the family has been overwhelming, as they navigate the many expenses that come with Geoff’s care and his end-of-life needs. Geoff and his wife, Judy, met at 16 and their love remains as strong today as it was then.  Together, they have weathered many hardships, always remaining a united and resilient family. Now, as Geoff’s navigates his final days he worries about leaving them to cope with  the mounting uncovered medical bills, daily living expenses,&the reality of planning for funeral costs in the near future.
