If you’ve ever met Scott and Sandra, and they’re girls, you know they are the kind of people who are always willing to lend a helping hand. They are hardworking, kind, and the first to show up for others when they’re in need.. Today, they need our help.
Scott works for Cabin Kings in Kerrville, Texas. After weeks of hard work preparing for a new beginning, he and his crew had just finished moving approximately 28 buildings to their new location at 2101 Junction Highway, directly across from Taqueria Jalisco. They finished arranging everything around 5:30 p.m. on July 15th, excited about what was ahead.
Less than 24 hours later, on July 16th, devastating floodwaters tore through the property.
More than half of the buildings were swept away by the flood. Some have been found as far away as Arcadia Loop, while many are still missing. Watching months of hard work disappear overnight has been heartbreaking.
Because of the destruction, Scott will be out of work for several months while the business works to recover. During this difficult time, we’re hoping to ease some of the financial burden on Scott and Sandra so they can focus on getting through the weeks ahead without the added stress of wondering how they’ll pay their bills.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go toward helping with everyday living expenses, groceries, utilities, and other essential needs while Scott is unable to work. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Scott, Sandra, and everyone affected by the Kerrville flood in your prayers.
Thank you for helping this incredible family during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives. Your kindness, generosity, and support will mean more than words can express.
