On March 5th, everything changed for my brother, Christian, and his family.
 What began as sudden facial paralysis, similar to stroke, led to a week in the hospital and a devastating diagnosis of a large arteriovenous malformation (AVM) and multiple brain aneurysms. Because of the risks, surgery wasn’t an option. Thanks to an incredible team at UM Health, Christian has completed radiation treatment and is now facing a long road to recovery.
 If you know Christian, you know his heart. He’s a devoted husband, a proud father of four, and the kind of person who shows up for everyone and always makes others feel seen, supported, and loved.
His faith is the foundation of his character, and he lives it out through his selflessness, his generosity, and his infectious laugh.
 Now, he needs us!  Christian is unable to work, and his wife, Noralis, has taken unpaid leave to care for him and their children. The financial strain is growing, and we want him to focus fully on healing.

Debido a los riesgos, la cirugía no era una opción. Gracias a un increíble equipo en UM Health, Christian ha completado el tratamiento de radiación y ahora enfrenta un largo camino hacia la recuperación.

Es un esposo dedicado, un orgulloso padre de cuatro hijos y el tipo de persona que siempre está presente para los demás, haciendo que todos se sientan vistos, apoyados y queridos. Su fe es la base de su carácter, y la vive a través de su generosidad, su entrega desinteresada y su risa contagiosa.
