<div>I used to live with my family in a small house in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, Gaza. Our home was our safe haven, full of memories, scents of warmth, and daily snapshots that formed over the years. When the war broke out, everything changed, bombing, killings, and hunger forced us to leave our home and even northern Gaza. Although we had survived the first displacement and vowed never to leave, this time everything became like hell, no one was spared; civilians were treated with greater cruelty than before.

<div>Today, we are displaced in the south, scattered: half of my family lives in a friend’s house, and the other half in temporary tents, searching for a small space to shelter us.
</div>
<div>Thankfully, a kind couple managed to secure a small room next to their garden. Its walls are damaged from shells, but it’s enough to contain us and bring us close together.
</div>

<div>Until now, we do not know the fate of our home. With the constant news and bombardment, we have entrusted our matter to God, hoping its walls remain standing. We have lost much security and opportunity. One of my greatest losses is not being able to complete my university studies as planned. Now, in the prime of my youth, I feel the heavy responsibility toward my small family, we have no income or source of livelihood. I want to be their voice and find a way to support them while completing my education.

<div>After two years of deprivation, I decided to launch this campaign as a lifeline, not merely a request for financial help, but a humanitarian call to rebuild part of a life shattered by war.

<div>I’m reaching out to gather support for my sister Solafa, her spouse Yasser Dahlan, and their three children. Yasser and Solafa have been married for 13 years and are blessed with Ammar, aged 12, Mohammed, aged 9, and Malak, aged 3.

<div>**Update** Yasser’s plan was to travel and leave Gaza in order to survive, but he changed his goal due to the closure of the crossings he thought and found that his life is not more important than the lives of these children who absolutely die every day in front his eyes, so he decided to contribute everything he can in the field of his profession to alleviate the severity of the pain that they are experiencing in Gaza. Especially the group of oppressed children. Please help Yasser and Solafa collect the amount required to purchase entertainment equipment for children’s activities such as balls, colours, ropes, hoops, balloons and food. Yasser is looking to launch art workshops for children, to help them express their feelings especially after all of this hard time. Hopefully, this could help in improving the children’s mental health.

<div>Gathering a group of children to create white paper kites, where each child writes slogans and dreams that express their aspirations for freedom, peace, and a better future. At the end of the activity, the children will be taken to an open space to fly the kites together, sending a symbolic message of hope and liberation.

<div>The ongoing war in Gaza has made daily life incredibly challenging for them, as it has for everyone in the region. They reside in Deir al Balah, deemed a “safe zone,” yet they have narrowly escaped death on multiple occasions due to bombings near their home.
</div>
<div>Their day-to-day existence is marked by hardship; they rely on canned food for sustenance, lack heating, and have insufficient electricity. They resort to burning wood for warmth instead of using conventional stoves, which is just one aspect of their daily struggles.
</div>
<div>Yasser is a talented fine artist and former art teacher. Despite the economic difficulties in Gaza, he has produced numerous artworks and participated in exhibitions locally and abroad. He has also created several murals in Gaza and used to owned an art studio, which was destroyed in the war. We will share a selection of his paintings with you.

<div>My name is Shahad Dahlan, I am 30 years old, and my husband is Hassan Al-Badrsawi, 34 years old. We live together in a story filled with both hope and pain, a story that began many years ago in a small, warm home that represented security to us. Those walls, despite their small size, contained everything: our memories, our hopes, and our dreams. But, in a single moment, we lost everything.

<div>In the early days of our life together, we lived in a rented house, and we struggled with all our might to provide a better life. We worked hard, despite the hardships of life, until we reached our goal: a small home of our own. We even built it with our own hands, and when we finished, it was one of the happiest days of our lives. But the dream didn’t last long. Due to the deadly war that swept through our country, we were forced to leave our home.

<div>The moments when we said goodbye to our house, carrying all our memories and dreams, were some of the hardest moments in our lives. We left it behind with everything in it, and lived for a long time in tents. We fled to Al-Aqsa University, but when the occupation took over, we had to move again, first to Rafah and then to Deir al-Balah. It was a journey filled with suffering, confusion, and hardships that we didn’t know how to face. We were even bombed several times and escaped death by miracle.

<div>But what destroyed us completely was when we returned to our home, only to find that everything had turned into a pile of rubble. Our memories, our dream, and our hard work were gone. The house that was once full of memories and dreams we built with our hands was now nothing but ruins. We lost our job, we lost our home, we lost everything. Even our small cat, who was part of our family, disappeared.

<div>Our lives were once full of hope, but now we live day by day, struggling just to stay alive. I had studied physical education at Al-Aqsa University, and I worked in gyms and children's entertainment programs for summer activities. As for my husband, Hassan, he worked in interior design and decoration, and he was passionate about his work. But now, he can’t find any job opportunities, and we are living in very difficult conditions.

<div>Our dream today is simply to survive and stay alive. Our dream is to reach Egypt, where we hope to find a safe place to start over. This is our only dream, and every day we fight to achieve it.
